I received this chair and really liked the look of it even though the leather is not of the highest quality. However, when I looked at it closely I noticed that the two chrome legs are not continuous but joined in the middle with about a three inch plastic tubing covering the place where the legs are joined together. I was told it was for extra support but it is very unattractive and quite noticeable -- not neat or unobtrusive. The picture should show the tube or the description should mention that the legs are joined in the middle with plastic tube for support where it joins.

I hesitated on buying this chair. I actually had my eye on a chair that I spotted at a warehouse store, but couldn't bring myself to pay that much money for just 1 chair...so, I bought 2 of these for much much less than the 1. The whole entire transaction was smooth and within the weekend they were delivered - totally unexpected. Packaging was detailed...not a scratch to be found - totally unexpected. Craftsmanship excellent, strudy but light weight and above all...comfortable - totally unexpected in a most very good way!

this chair is such a conversation piece. it is very easy to assemble and the finish is great! we are very happy with the appearcence and look of the product is great. i would recomond this product to anyone!

Very very pleased with both the quality of the furniture as well as the speed of delivery and packing of the chair.
If I knew it would be this smooth I would have done it a lot sooner!

Great chair; great price; fantastic value! (Style without the triple inflated price tag). It's everything we were looking for. The angle of the seat makes it comfortable despite the lack of a cushion. Would not recommend it for lounging in front of a TV but great for our office reception area.

I would have given these chairs a 5 star rating except they have light tan top stiching that was not indicated in the copy nor did it show up in the on-line photo. I thought the stiching would be black. They are very nice chairs and I am warming up to the lighter stiching but still feel I would have preferred black stiching. Howvever, the value cannot be questioned. A friend who has a similar chair said he thought these chairs had better leather than his. He bought his from a contemporary furniture store.

These chairs are the BEST
I do know the original WASSILY chair, in MOMA and believe me, this is a great knock off, at a fraction of the cost

These chairs are classic and I purchased 2 ..Couldn't believe the price and shipping cost ...I've seen them in designer stores for $1500 each....shipping would be unreal as well...
Came in huge boxes with NO damage either...

These chairs arrived fully assembled in huge boxes. When I opened the box, the smell of the leather wafted out, and the metal body of the chair was completely wrapped in foam - they must have listened to some earlier reviews about the chrome being scratched. The chairs are nice and wide, and much more comfortable than I expected - and they give us the modern look we were hoping for - thanks!

This is a classic design that goes with any contemporary decor. It's beautiful to look at and more comfortable than you would believe. Over 20 years ago a friend of my sister had a pir of the original that he paid over $1200. apiece for. This chair is a great value. I didn't put the black plastic glides on the runners because I thought it made it look cheapened.

Looks perfect in any contemporary setting. We get lots of nice comments on it! Very sturdy and well built as well as beautiful. An incredible deal compared to other stores offering this chair. A must have if you are in the market for this look.

I ordered this chair and it arrived quickly the following week. The leather is of a good quality, however some loose threads that were kind of obvious were there. The chrome frame was a little marred in one place, nothing major. I think it is a little on the expensive side for what it is but the compliments I've recieved on it make up for that !
