The chopping block arrived in good time and condition and had a bonus wood conditioner included. It's no light weight, so it's more suited to sitting on a kitchen bench top rather than being put away in a cupboard. I soon discovered that due to it's 3 inch thickness and being only 12 inches in length and breadth, it can be stored vertically when not in use, allowing for more bench space. It look great, so why hide it? It's a dream to use and very knife friendly; so far, there are no scratches which is an added benefit with end grain boards and blocks. Read the instructions carefully, season your block well, and you will have many years of good service. Made in the USA by company that is obviously proud of it's product.

This is a beautiful chopping block. It's heavy duty--doesn't slide around--and is pretty enough to leave out on the counter. I've oiled it with mineral oil as recommended and after a month it still looks new and should for years to come. It's very substantial and I just love it!

I've had the chopping block for less than a month and the wood has already started to split. It has not been put in the dishwasher or used for anything other than normal cutting and chopping of ingredients for meals for a family of two. I was severely disappointed by such poor manufacturing. I would not recommend this product.
