My husband recently made me a padded headboard. I have been trying to find an outfit that will match the colors in the cloth that he chose for the padded area. This was not only a good color, but makes the bed look absolutely stunning. It is beautiful, I am only sorry that it did not come with window treatments.
To those considering this purchase be wary of one thing; the feel of the fabric. While the lining is soft, the patterned material is a bit rough, and I hope it will improve with washing. The dark portions are closer to brownish gold than cream. It does look lovely though, and I hope it becomes softer with wear, tear and wash, as most towels, sheets and comforters do.
I read the reviews before purchasing, so knew that the center looked white in the picture but was actually a combination of taupe and white threads giving it more of a taupe appearance with a hint of white. It actually is prettier than I expected and the fabric is silky feeling. I am very happy with my purchase. I wasn't expecting to buy a set that also included euro pillow covers besides the standard shams, so I will now purchase square euro pillows. In addition, the two decorative pillows included with this set are nice looking and nice quality too.
