I can't really add much to what has already been said. The unit was delivered within 5 days, even though Overstock said it may take much longer. The unit was assembled and undamaged. The unit was clearly made with quality materials and is as sturdy a piece of furniture as anything I've owned. The functionality is very good with a fair amount of space for movies and music and more than enough space for all of my AV equipment. There are thoughtful accessories like the mounted power strip and vented back doors and unbeknownst to me, even the middle shelf slides out. The only cons to this unit is that is did scuff rather easily when I carefully (or so I thought I was being careful) placed my 54" Panny on it. It would be nice to have just a tad more room for movies and music and would be nice if it were a few inches higher, but overall this is a great unit, well built, attractive and the service from Overstock was very good.

We are very happy with the solid construction and appearance of the product. It suits our needs perfectly: a few inches deeper than most on the market (depth needed for our tuner) and glass doors and drawers to hide clutter and keep out dirt. The whole thing came already assembled. Delivery took about 15 days from CA to MI. Delivery guy was very helpful and pleasant.The only drawback is that the wood off-gassed for a couple of weeks. It was very pungent for the first few days. We were lucky that we ordered it in the summer so we opened windows and doors to keep the air circulating. Now, 1.5 months later, there's no smell and it still looks and works great.

We purchased this console to support a Panasonic 54 inch plasma and home theater components. And boy, this stand is fantastic. The workmanship and quality (although it's made in China) is fantastic. Dovetailed drawer, solid wood (no veneers here!), and very heavy (box said 212 pounds). The doors are perfectly aligned, the hardware is top notch, there is a center support (5th leg that isn't shown in the pictures), and the finish is smooth. The cable management in the back is great, the power strip (5 outlets) helps reduce the number of wires exiting, and the adjustable shelves allows perfect fit of a receiver, DVD player, DVD recorder, satellite box, and networking hardware. We looked at local furniture stores, and at this price, we saw mostly MDF/veneer based products that pale in comparison to this item. I highly recommend it. But... The shipping was atrocious. It took about 2 weeks to receive this. There was one guy, middle aged with an apparent bad back. He was unable to two-wheel the box by himself and asked me for help. After the box fell off the two wheeler and got it back on, we finally got it to the front door. I then had to help him carry it up 4 steps and through the doorway. I opened the package to inspect for any damage (scratches, broken glass, etc). There was a small scratch on the back of of the console, which I showed the delivery guy. He quickly quipped

This console is perfect for the job of holding a big flat screen, plus components in the most dressed up room in your home. It is a really beautiful piece of furniture that blends in with fine furniture. Sturdy, pre-assembled, with fit and finish for the discerning decorator. The doors swing open easily and fit tightly. I use the sliding open drawer for my turntable. The designers of this piece really thought through the details (e.g., cord routes and storage). I hestitated buying this because it cost more than many consoles, but it is worth the money if you have the money. Delivery was quick from Overstock, and the piece arrived in perfect condition because it was so well packed.
