wow! I was so looking forward to get this item since the design matches my window treatments. The first time it was busted, the 2nd time it was busted again! cracks, poor workmanship (nails pop they try to cover, broken parts with putty and paint). I had to sent it back and not getting a 3rd one! Overstock customer service was great about taking care of this issues.

The bookcase is delicate and complements a Chinese motif I want to create in a long hallway. It is sturdy enough to hold photo albums and attractive to blend in well with other black furniture, family photos/ancestors, and Chinese decor. It was shipped well and suffered no damage. Thank you.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The bookcase is painted wood with delicate sides that I'd wanted to complement a Chinese motif. While not superior quality, the bookcases fit nicely in my hall area to hold photo albums. I do not recommend this bookcase for anyone who wants to shelve heavy books. But the piece is charming.

This piece looks great in my modern shabby chic place. The shelf came 80% assembled so very easy to put tgr and get up!
