I had some initial reservations about purchasing this valance for a kitchen window that receives a lot of sunlight. I was not sure how the red would look and didn't want it to be gaudy. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The color is rich and deep; the beading adds an elegant touch, and the quality of the material is good. Overall, it has added character to my kitchen.

I purchased five chocolate color valances for my living room. The fabric is a nice quality and color is consistent with the picture. The constuction of the valances is pretty poor. Some are of differing lengths from one side to another of almost an inch. The beading is not secure making them impossible to wash without losing some of the beading.

Purchased this curtain for my bathroom. Tried to match new shower curtain. The color was a few shades darker (I feel) than picture. However I was delighted with the quality and tried to find somewhere else to use it. My son & his girl just moved into a new place showed the curtain to her. I am really impressed with these valances. I purchased two in Chocolate to use in a 52" window in my home. They were not missing any of the beads, are thick and lustrous looking, and look so much more expensive than they are! I would have paid twice what I paid form them, and am ever so pleased!

This is the second time I have purchased these valances. I bought the blue for my living room and love them. They look very expensive and the little beads at the end give them an added fun touch. I purchased the cinnabar valances to put in my newly remodeled kitchen thinking it would add a nice touch of color The valances in themselves are very nice and the quatlity is good but they have a very shinny almost opalensent look to them , The overall look was a heavy damasky antiquey look which is not the look I want so they are going back.
