Malibu Sunrise 16-piece Dinnerware Set

Bought it for every day use. It looks gorgeous, very contemporary, bright colors. I love that plate itself does not get extremely hot in the microwave, just warm when food on the plate is hot. I gave 4 stars, not 5 just because of size of dinner plates is slightly too small, but we got used to it .

I really love these. Yes, they are not huge plates, but they are plenty big enough for my husband and I, and we frequently use even the salad plate as our dinner plate. I dunno, I think most plates are too big and another set of dishes we had didn't even fit in our cupboard! I love the way they look, they are so pretty and look very elegant on our table. I would have given them 5 stars but I do feel the price is a little high. Then again, I don't think ANY dishes should cost this much, and many do :o) I also like a deep bowl as opposed to wide, but I'm getting used to these. I will be ordering another set for sure, I'm a very happy customer.

I received the set yesterday and agree with the previous comment of diner plates being the size of salad plates. You cannot have a dinner plate that small. I was also disappointed by the off white color of the plates. Its a big turn off. The photo shows a very glossy white background, but that's not the reality. You get much better dinner set at Wal Mart at this price.....I guess I will have to buy just a dinner plates set now. This set is worth $30~$35.

The dishes are very attractive, and are good quality but the dinner plate is more like a salad plate and the salad plate more like a desert plate. I will keep the dishes because I like the design but will be shopping for a different set of everyday dishes. I was really disappointed when I got these plates because of the small size. The reviews I read said the plates were a good size, and I'm wondering a good size for what? The bowls and coffee cups are quite nice and the appropriate size. Overall this is a great looking pattern, but not practical.
