Polyethylene Rattan is coated rattan (a species of palm), its a very good material mainly because it is lightweight, durable, and --- to a certain extent --- flexible. The coating is made of recycled plastic which strengthens and gives a long life to the rattan. Unfortunately it is not considered a water-proof or sun-proof material, although it is durable. overstockcustomercare1 on May 21, 2012
