For proper fullness, panels should measure 2-3 times the width of your window.

It says "For proper fullness, panels should measure 2-3 times the width of your window" ......does this mean EACH panel on each side of the window, or the TOTAL width of both panels combined ? In other words, my window is 42" wide, what is the proper width of a single panel of this drape (so I'd know how many to buy) ? Also, would the pole be 4 feet for a proper return? Thank you for the help :)mulberrymarquessa9 on Nov 1, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Each panel is 50 inches wide. Yes a 4 foot long pole would work great.

As follow up to my previous question regarding the measurement of the 3-inch pocket for curtain rods, can you confirm that a larger-than-normal sized curtain rod would fit inside these velvet drapes?
The curtain rod we have is 5.75" in circumference, or 1.83" in diameter.

I notice your velvet curtain descriptions state that they have a 3 inch pocket for curtain rods. Can you clarify how this is measured? Is it the maximum circumference or the maximum diameter of the curtain rod?
In looking online at various web sites, I cannot find a proper answer to this.

Hello gman2013, The fabric is fold over and sewn into a pocket that is 3 inches high. This allows for different ways to hang the drapes as shown in the third image in the image gallery. We hope this helps and thank you for shopping with us.overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 17, 2013

The pictures show three different hanging styles but no options were given when ordering. I assume that means they can be hung all three ways? Thanks.cstep6808 on Nov 2, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Yes, these curtains can be hung with rings, with hooks, or rod-pocket style.overstockcustomercare1 on Nov 2, 2012
