Loved the ladder look for a bookcase.
Have a quirky spot in the wall downstairs. Not a lot of room. This just fit in the corner and I filled it with books and still had room to hang three pictures vertically down the side. Could see where some folks could put 2 or 3 shelves next to each other on a bigger wall. Love and does just what I needed.

looks very nice
It took me about an hour to put it together, would of been a lot faster with a second person, but overall pretty easy. It arrived in great condition and looks great in a little nook in my kitchen where I needed to fill the space. Can actually hold a decent amount of weight on each shelf, I was happy about that. Pretty sturdy.

Ladder Shelf is Perfect!
This shelf was easy to put together (with two people) and went together in 15 minutes or so. Personally, I think it looks like it came from a more expensive store, but with an Overstock price! This product was exactly what I was looking for!

the directions are intense, def need two people!! putting the shelves together was frustrating because of the type of assembly tools provided and the last connection was super tough.

I ordered this shelf and the matching desk unit. Both arrived less than a week after ordering packed in boxes with styrofoam (styrofoam? really?! it's 2013...). But no damage, dings, or dents. Wood finish is gorgeous, but I gave it 4 stars because it was darker than the picture and the matching desk unit. Still went with my living room and I'll make it work, but beware if you are expecting these things to be uniform... solid wood coming from Thailand will have some variances. Assembly was stupid simple... easier than Ikea furniture. Recommend having some wood glue on hand to firm up the connecting dowels. Is it the most solid piece of furniture in my home? No. Will it do? Absolutely! Overall? Totally recommend. It's $** and the same thing from Crate & Barrel is $130. This is a no-brainer.

This matched perfectly and I was very pleased with the quality and construction. It was easy to put together and looks fabulous in my living room. I wish I had more room in my house so I could order another one. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT!!
