Customer Reviews
This is a very nice light, but as stated in the other review the arms are a cherry to almost red color, I plan on getting a metal paint with a walnut tint to mute the cherry color a bit. The base is a nice mahogany color, but the arms really stand out when the light is on at night. We have a dimmer switch and it makes a big difference, if you don't have one you will need one. Over all its a very inexpensive light for a nice look. I did not have a problem with it being off center, however I did adjust the arms a bit before I hung it. Over all I would still recomment just be aware of the color difference.
Overall I was pretty happy with the chandelier. It adds a modern flair to our dining room, but some things to note:The picture shows brown/almost black wood, and that is true for the circle that the lights sit on, but as for the arms and the chain, they are CHERRY colored. Very strange. Luckily I am not super picky, but if you want it all one color, this is not the right chandelier for you.If you use 60 Watt bulbs the chandelier is extremely bright. You would never have it on all the way if you have a dimmer switch. I used 40 Watt soft white and it was still too bright. We are having a dimmer switch installed anyhow so I did not bother getting different bulbs. Also, it is a bit off kilter. It leans to one side a bit. I had to buy a weight and put it on one side to weigh it down. Unfortunately you can see the washer on there from various angles so it was the lesser of two evils I suppose. The shades are bright white, so these really don't look like LED pillar candles, just regular, modern, opaque glass shades. If you want the pillar look, you should get one like this withe yellow-tinted shades.Still after all that, it was a decent price compared to others like it elsewhere.
