Chairs were beautiful and very sturdy. My 6 yr old grandson and I put them together in a matter of a couple of hours after carefully working our way through the first one from the picture provided. The chairs were shipped from a great distance but they were well packed and in great condition - no mars or flaws on the finish.

Chairs are easy to put together! I used my own tools and took me about half hour to put both together. The chairs are exactly as pictured and look great in my kitchen.

Don't be afraid of these chairs. They are a great buy...very heavy, sturdy and attractive. They arrived within a week and were well packaged with all parts. Assembly was not a problem, and took maybe 2 hrs. tops. A good choice for chair replacement.

I have a 7-piece dining set that just turned 10 years old. I still like the table but wanted some new wood chairs. (current ones are metal and quite heavy). I loved the look of black and cherry chairs to complement my black table. Six chairs came in 3 separate boxes, packed very well and arrived on time. Took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. Hint - insert 2 cross support spindles for each chair before tightening legs and back. The chairs are a little smaller than I expected, however this allows for less crowding around my table.

Overall, I was pleased w/ my purchase. For the money - these 2 chairs are a good deal! They are sturdy and were easy to assemble. Although, the 2 black Mae side chairs arrived w/ a small bit of unpainted damage to the front of the seat back (a bit of touch up paint was needed), they were still a good deal.

We are very pleased with the chairs. They are heavy, sturdy, very well made and comfortable. The cherry seat makes a nice color contrast to the rest of the black chair. They arrived in good condition and were easy to assemble. Except that one chair had a seat that could not be assembled as delivered. The holes that were drilled were in the wrong place. So we had to disassemble the seat and turn it completely around to match the holes for the legs. This was not difficult, but a little frustrating. Better quality control would have taken care of this error. All in all it was a good purchase and we highly recommend the chairs.

Just recieved these chairs today and there awsome! I kept my old table and replaced the chairs with these and im very satisfied. Great quality and beautiful color!

I longed for these chairs for months and finally took the plunge. So glad I did, as they are very comfortable and very well made. Much heavier than our previous chairs. There are worm holes and the occasional scratch, but that didn't bother me since it was going to happen anyway. I think it adds to the character.

Chairs are just ok.....Spend a few bucks more and buy American.............

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to try these chairs. It took about 5 days for delivery and the packages arrived in fine condition. The chairs were easy to assemble. One chair was missing two of the screw holes on the corner brace, but it only took a drill and a few minutes to remedy. The chairs are heavy and solid. The back slats are great because they are flat where you lean your back and shaped on the back side. I liked the chairs enough to purchase the matching counter stools.

These chairs look great in my small eat-in kitchen! One seat had a "ding" in it (probably a result of shipping) but not worthy of sending it back. I am very happy with my purchase!

These imported chairs are ok. They are sturdy and heavy and are a decent quality. I have found some cracks and slivers in the wood. The distressing on the chairs is the exact same, in the same places.

These chairs are a great value and are very nice looking! The spindles on the back of the chair are flat for comfort on the side that your back touches, and rounded for looks on the other side. That's a detail I wouldn't have expected for a chair in this price range. I would definitely recommend them to a prospective buyer!

I purchased 3 sets of 2 chairs. I was nervous about buying so many chairs on line without seeing them first. I have been very pleased with the quality of these chairs. The colors are what I thought it would be and the solid hardwood makes them durable. I had only one chair that was not balanced correctly, but I put an extra pad on the bottom of the leg and it is fine. My 11 year old put together all chairs with ease. Great buy.
