Sofa bed acquired for use in vacation rental. Good value for the price. As noted by other reviewers, seam where back and seat meet to allow folding makes use as bed marginal for long-term use. We're going to try to make a filler for it. Couch is also a bit deep for us short-legged folks.

I have never been let down by the quality of a piece of furniture that I have purchased from Overstock. They always accurately describe the piece and provide access to reviews, good and bad for you to view prior to purchase. I purchased this for my study as a "hideaway" during the day for relaxing and for company when our bedroom capacity hit overflow. Everyone that has slept on this as a sleeper sofa said it was the best they had ever experienced, no rod poking you in the back in the middle. For those that are having problems with a large gap, it sounds like maybe a problem with their assembly. The assembly was a breeze and I have recommended it to everyone I knew buying futons for their kids in college or for their own homes. The sofa seat is very deep which I find very attractive in a sofa and it is firm to sit on or lie on. I've had it almost two yrs now and can not tell any difference from the day it came out of the box; despite the heavy use. Very good decision and several colors to chose from.

The manufacturers must be listening because the problem about a gap in the middle of the bed mentioned in another review has been eliminated. The back and seat are now the same size so it's hard to get it wrong. The only thing that is still not perfect is the drawing on the directions. With the help of a previous reviewer I figured that out and could probably have put it together myself but an extra pair of hands was useful.I bought the couch for my living room and it is a great color, soft beige-brown and looks just fine. I don't think that most people would notice that it is a futon. The bed is super comfortable. The couch is firmer than my old one but I got used to it right away.It is so easy to convert back and forth. I cannot understand how they can make such a quality product for this price.Thanks a lot, Overstock, you saved me big money.

I bought this day bed for my studio with a bit of hesitation due to the fact that I could not sit and test it out....Bad idea. This sofa is a great looking sofa, and is very comfortable to sit on. As a day bed, unfortunately the design has a flaw and the padding separates in the bed position where the couch meets in the middle. So from head to toe, right down the middle, there is about 6 inches of no padding. I have had to purchase two different types of foam to fill the valley, and then a mattress cover to top it off, and it is still is not that great. For anyone who plans on using this as a nightly bed, do not buy it!!!!!

Sometimes it is just not worth the low price because you end up with low quality product. But it never ceases to amaze me the deals I find on overstock.com. This product is yet another good example of a high quality product for a very low price. I looked at others that where the same price that looked more like cheap foutons. This product looks like a nice mircofiber couch when asembled and in a room with the additional benefit of being a sleeper!
