Great color, quick delivery but a little tricky to put together. The brackets did not seem right. After a few times of removing them, switching and studying them, got it figured out. It is nice to have a little help when putting together, could of used a second set of tools that came with the kit. Better pictures in the assembly guide would be nice also. Being used in a family room. Nice as a bed to use when needed. Overall, a happy camper!

This futon is much less "Futon-like" than I expected. I did not want a futon but was left with little choice after moving into an apartment that didn't have much room to move things in. This futon arrived in a long slender box, and being unassembled made it easy to get inside. I was surprised to find that the seat/mattress part was much softer and more comfortable than I expected. It's much more comfortable than sitting on a futon that just has a giant pillow as the seat and mattress. The only complaint I have about this futon is that sometimes the cushioned cover seems to raise up a little bit, and needs a little tweaking to get it to look "normal" once again. The color is also a lot darker than the color in the picture. It's more of a chocolate brown, but that worked out well for me. All in all, I'd say it's worth the value and then some. Its very comfortable, and doesn't have that traditional futon look.

The futon wasn't what I had expected from other reviews. Padding in the entire sofa is sparse. It hasn't been used as a sleeping surface yet but it is not comfortable seating. The color is good and the service was great, it shipped quickly and assembly was reasonably easy.

This product was very good for the cheap price. I loved the color and it was just what I was looking for. It is darker than it looks in the picture. It would have been easier to put together if I had someone to help me but I did manage to assemble it by myself. I think it is very comfortable, the only problem is the arm rests are kinda... weird. They are just pillows set in a cover so its awkward to lean against. I haven't used it as a bed yet, but when I bought it I knew I wouldn't very often. I would buy this couch again after having it for a month. Hopefully it holds up to the test of time. So far I love it.

I bought this futon for my office to use when I had extra company. That has not been good the futon is in two parts the back and the seat which leave a large 6 inch gap when you try to use as a bed so you roll to the middle gap and beleive me that is not comfortable. Wish I had never bought it.

I bought this to use when I visit my son. It looks good,, but doesn't sleep so good. An innerspring mattress on a futon is great, but not this one. I have an innerspring futon at my place and I love it. It is a really good mattress, and makes a very comfortable bed. However, the mattress(es) on this leaves a lot to be desired. The barely adequate padding over the springs could be made up for by inserting some more cushioning under the cover. But it has some defects that are not as easily addressed. The item has two separate matresses, one on the back of the sofa and one on the seat of the sofa. Note in the item picture that it appears to slope towards the middle when it's folded down for a bed. That is not an optical illusion. And then in the middle, between the two mattresses, there is a gap about 6 or 7 inches wide. This means that you slide towards the middle of the bed and into the gap between the mattresses. Quality of sleep suffers under these conditions. So buy it for a sofa but not for sleeping in on a regular basis.

I just bought this couch after reading other reviews. It shipped very quickly and as it says in those it's darker than it appears in the photo, which is what I was looking for anyway. It wasn't too hard to put together, goes great in our new family room and is comfy to sleep on. Hope it lasts a long time.

This futon is perfect for the den that I ordered it for. Much more comfortable than most futons. The futon would not have been difficult to put together, but the metal spring parts are mislabled (the L attached on the right and the R attached to the left side of the futon) I had read the reviews about the mislabeled parts, but a friend put it together as a surprise and was not privy to the online information so it caused a lot of heartburn. It was backwards for a few weeks until we had time to pull it apart and figure out what the problem was. That took about an hour to figure it all out. Now it operates correctly and works nicely as a couch or bed. Looking forward to years of use. .

I live in a modular home, so space is a problem. I had surgery, and needed a place to be able to lay down during the day. We saw this beautiful Futon Sofa Bed, and ordered it. It's perfect. In time, I plan to order the love seat to match.

I bought this sofa and at first loved it! My husband was getting up one day from it and used the arm and dented it by just putting his normal weight on it. It has never gone back and the same thing has happened to the other arm as well. I would recommend getting the sofa similar to this but with arm cushions. As far as the durability its just not keeping up well. I have to lay it down to try and puff out the cushions and even though the sofa allows you to put it in different positions the reclining one is the best, yet that makes the cushions almost dent where you were sitting once you get up. Just in case you are wondering Im 150 pounds. So if this is for everyday use, I would NOT get it, if its for a guest room I guess it would be worth it if it isn't used very much. I have had this sofa 9 months now.

Good futon sofa bed. Fairly sturdy, but it's not going to take kids jumping on it repeatedly. Perfect for normal (sane) family use. Looks like a nice sofa (rather than like a futon), and it's pretty darn comfortable. The fabric is suede-like, so we'll have to see how well it stands up to wear and liquids. Assembly is easy but not super straightforward. A word of warning: the pictures of the hinges in the instructions are in the "in-use" or "flexed" position and not in the "at rest" position that you'll see when you're holding them in your hand. The right hinge will look like the left (and vice-versa) when "at rest", so trust the R & L stickers on the hinges and don't go by looks. Also, the straps that wrap the frame and cushions tightly together for packaging are really under pressure and go with quite a snap when cut. Watch out for flying ends. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

We ordered this product in the hopes of replacing a lesser quality prior futon purchase (from a local store), we liked the ease and idea of having a futon for our children's overnight guests and visitors.We ordered this futon it arrived in only a few days, very large package but well packed and arrived with out issues. We put this together in about an hour plus or minus. The fabric is soft, the cushions are soft and the futon certainly works for us. This is a very comfortable sofa which easily coverts to a good size bed for children or temporary guests. The color as indicated before by another individual is a bit more mocha than the appearance on the screen, possibly due to staging or lighting for the item to be captioned. The color is closer to darker brown vs lighter brown.All in all for the value and price with delivery right to your door step it is a win win purchase. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to provide their children a safe comfortable sitting area or in a play/gaming area, it will also again come in very handy for out of town guests providing maximum comfort while also being multi functional. Love the look of the Futon and the feel of the material, however, have found that as you sit on it, wherever you sit depressed so it end up with a lumpy look. Is very comfortable to lay on if you like a firm mattress.

This is a great buy as it is the most comfortable sofa and bed besides looking great. The only problem is putting the sofa together. The directions are misleading because the picture showing the spring assembly is facing the wrong way. The spring should be facing the front instead of the back of the sofa. I'm glad I read the comments as others have pointed out this mistake. We put it together with their help and it went together perfectly. It works perfectly as either a bed or sofa and looks high end. I plan on buying the love-seat in the future.

We love this futon sofa bed so far (we bought it for overnight guests and they haven't tried it out yet). Previously we had bought a similar product from another store and it was hard as a rock so we were very pleased at the nice comfortable cushioning on this sofa. My husband had a little trouble putting it together. He got some of the parts on backwards but we soon figured out the problem. I don't think it was in the instructions; my husband missed the stickers on some of the parts labeled "L' for left and "R" for right. The sofa is very easy to move from the sitting to the sleeping position and vice versa. Also, it truly is a full-size bed in width and length, unlike some that claim to be. Delivery was quick ¿ less than 2 weeks. The UPS man had a little trouble getting it from the truck to the house ¿ it weighed 150 lbs., he said. Price was also excellent and believe me, I checked everywhere! Thanks, Overstock. I have been pleased with everything I've ordered from you.

I was nervous to order furniture through Overstock but I am extremely glad that I did. The piece arrived quickly in one enormous box. My husband put it together in about an hour. We are very pleased with the quality of the futon as well as the comfort. It looks very nice and I almost hate to have in the childrens den! Over all a nice addition to our home. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Shipped very quickly. Easy to assemble, all tools were included. This item is even better than pictured. It has a metal frame like traditional futons but the frame is covered by fabric, very nice touch which makes this look more like a traditional sofa when it's not in the bed position. I love that to put it in the bed position doesn't require removing anything. You just click it and presto, it's a bed. I priced futons elesewhere and for this price you won't find anything nicer. Great value! I'd recommend this sofa.
