I really like the quality of the sofa bed. Considering that it was less 500 dollars, this is great item. It was difficult to set it up , but with friends' help it took couple hours. It is pretty comfortable, but easy to stain since it is microfiber. I would recommend this if you wanna spend less than 500 $ on a reasonable sofa bed.

I wanted a convertible sofa that was a real full-size bed, but didn't want an actual pull-out with all the pillows and the uncomfortable, back-hurting bar. I was disgusted by how many sofa beds that claimed to be "full-size" were actually only 43" wide. This sofa is PERFECT. It is in our basement boom-boom room, accessorized by leopard chairs, a retro coffee table, and a black shag rug. We wanted it for the occasional overspill of drunken party guests, if our guest room was occupied. It is easy to open and close, and the mattress is really comfortable. It was fairly easy to assemble, as long as you follow the directions exactly. I assembled it all by myself. It's a slightly deeper red than shown, but still a pretty color. It's pretty easy to clean, as well. Unfortunately the cat has also taken a liking to to it--he puked on it as a sign of his approval--but it wiped off easily. Cat hair a bit harder to get off, but can be done. All in all, an excellent purchase, and we are still very pleased many months later.

The sofa color is a rich burnt red in easy to clean microfiber. The style and size is perfect for my office/spare bedroom. The assembly was not as difficult as originally anticipated, but I wouldn't have been able to tackle it alone. The cushions are comfortable, nice and plush! The only thing I am concerned about is how long it will last...not quite as sturdy as I would have liked. Have seen the same sofa on other websites for over $900, so this is a fantastic price! All in all...a very good value and I know I will enjoy it!

We bought this sofa six months ago for our basement. It is really a great buy! the sofa looks nice, is very comfortable to sit on. It is even more comfortable when unfolded into a bed! (My husband and I used it for two nights when we had guests visiting.) The only thing that prevents me from giving it a five star is the armrests. They are loose, saggy and hard to rest your arms on.

I purchased this futon sofa because my granddaughter had moved in with me and I gave up my bedroom since she is having a baby. I was tired of sleeping on my old sofa. I read reviews about the sides not being marked right which made me wonder; however, they are marked right and I put the sofa together entirely by myself and am a 67-year-old woman. I thought it was relatively easy to assemble with not lots of steps. The mattress is comfortable and the color is wonderful. It does take up a little more room deeply so keep that in mind if you have a regular sofa that it could take up a bit more room. I think it is a great buy for the money.

I've had this futon for less than a year now. I liked it for the first few months, but then we could start to feel the springs when sitting in it. And we are constantly being shocked from the thing. Then guests complained that it sinks in the middle where the two pads come together. Just recently, the springs are completely sunk in in the sitting positon and the padding it gone. Dont know where it went. But Im calling to have the spring/padding replaced. Besides that its good for a backup bed. I dont think I would buy this again.

This piece comes dis-assembled which is fine, but when following the instructions the pieces were incorrectly labeled which just created more of a headache because we had to take it apart and switch the pieces and re-assemble. the pre-drilled holes on the side rails were too far to the back which when fully assembled the bed would not fully "lay out" to a bed position. It works for a couch right now but I have to find someone to take it apart and re-drill the holes in the proper location so it can be used for a bed. Bottom line: The quality is nice, however, the pieces are labeled incorrectly and some holes are drilled in the wrong place. Kind of a pain but worth it if you are NOTa single mom and have someone who can fix it for you.

Like the way it looks. Convertining it into a bed takes a little more than a quick "click", but maybe I did something wrong in the assembly. Happy so far, will see how it holds up. Great for small apt spaces.

It was pretty easy to assemble. My only advice is not to assume someone put the L and R stickers backwards! Although it appears that the Left futon attachment could only fit on the right, due to the shape and how the coil sticks out, it is, in fact, correct. Putting it backwards made the mattress sink 4 inches down inside of the couch, which put a tear in the material. The couch is very bouncy, very comfy! I am slightly disappointed that the arm rests aren't as full as it looked in the picture, and the velcro that holds the arm down in place is placed too low on the couch. I sometimes get scratched because of this. It also stretches the armrest downward too much.

I am very pleased with this futon and everything else I have ordered from Overstock. The quality was much better than I expected. I was apprehensive about ordering furniture on line, but when it arrived in less than a week, I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the futon couch. I love the bright red color and ease at putting it together, the instructions with the pics were very clear. It will serve us well in our new basement rec. room and easily accessable when our grand-kids come to visit. Thank-you for the great quality couch and great price.

Funny the Crimson unit has a low rating but if you look at the other colors they all have high ratings. I purchased this 2 weeks before Christmas and it arrived with in a week. It took about an hour to assemble.It came in 1 box which weighed about 140lbs. The box was condensed. I believe they used a vacuum style packaging with heavy belts to hold it in the smaller box. I managed to get the UPS driver to put it in the front door which made it easier for me.As far as assembly, it was relatively easy. I would recommend following the instructions. I did have a bent bracket but, pliers fixed that.It was just what I wanted! I have a spare room which I wanted to have the option of a full size bed or sofa. I use the room for a reading room and when company comes for the night, I have a full size bed. I did verify that full size sheets fit on the bed and it worked great. I really wanted something that did not look like a futon. I haven't used it really for a bed but, it is comfortable as a sofa. I have had it open as a bed and laid on it and if feels comfortable.When family came over for Christmas everyone liked the sofa and the fact that it looked like a sofa and not a futon. The color is a dark or deep red. I wanted that color to go with my patriotic/ red,white, & blue theme. It works perfect.No complaints!!!!
