    This Madison Park Curtain panel is very nice. The material is a nice cotton fabric and hangs very well. The green is perfect for a kitchen or eat in area. I rarely order something on-line because you are not able to see it first, but I was very pleased with this purchase. Not only that but I received my order two days earlier than forecasted.

Hello, babo52. Hope your day is going well. These are unlined panels and are not black-out drapes. Though they do diffuse light and visibility into the room, we don't know if it will be to the extent you seem to be looking for. The degree of visibility will vary depending on overall environment, lighting inside and out and angles. Many people add another panel to the window---from a sheer panel to black out panel--- to get the ultimate degree of darkness and blockage they need.
