i completely agree with the first reviewer that the table fits in surprisingly well with high end furniture both in terms of the appearance of the wood and the design of the table. it was also extremely easy to put together and there was absolutely no problem with holes not lining up, missing pieces or any of the other problems typically associated with 'assembly required' furniture. that said, my excitement over my new inexpensive purchase was tempered somewhat the minute i turned it upright and set it in place, b/c the base is too lightweight for the table top, and particularly if placed on carpet, the table rocks with only slight pressure applied to the outer edge. it could easily be tipped or pulled over by a pet or a child., and it's not so lightweight it couldn't cause an injury if this happened. so it looks great, and it might be slightly more stable on a plain wood floor, but i gave it only 3 stars for workmanship b/c that was the closest category for reflecting my concern about stability: the base should be heavier and i would recommend only if you don't have small children or large pets.

I needed a more formal but small dining table for my condo. This table fit perfectly. Assembly was easy. I use two cushioned parsons chairs comfortably. Seating four might be a bit tight. I had a bistro style table but got tired of climbing up. The 36 inches table top is just right.

I purchased this table to use as a dining table in our condo. The space was small so I needed a 36 inch table. The table arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The rim had a flaw on the underside but it does not show. I purchased a glass top from a local store, to help protect the finish. I did not have any problems with leveling and the table sits on a ceramic tile floor.

I downsized from a large home to a condo and purchased this table as a smaller replacement table. The quality is very good and assembly was a snap. This piece is the perfect size for two and fits in nicely with my red leather parson chairs. It is so versatile from tradional to contemporary. Would recommend to anyone contemplating purchasing this table.

My husband needed a small table for his office that he could sit with employees when they came in with papers and had to lay them out to visualize. His office isn't that large and a larger table would have overwhelmed the room. It is large enough that it's not only an accent piece but its very functional. The table is small but two to three small chairs can be gathered around it as a working space.

The table arrived quickly as all Overstock products but the quality is poor. Difficult to put together because the instructions are poor. The quality of the table top is poor. I would not purchase this again

Very happy with this purchase. We are a young couple, on a budget, with a smallish loft. This 36" round table fits our space and is quite attractive. Easily assembled, no wobbly legs, no issues with tipping or sturdiness (ours is on hardwood floors). Would comfortably accommodate 4 adults, probably not much more though. Color is nice - I was concerned the cherry would be too red but it's a warm reddish brown.

Seems just great. The table was easy to assemble and makes the room feel rich and inviting. It is both beautiful and very sturdy for my retail shop display. I would be tempted to buy another!

I l;ove this table. It was easy to put together. I did it alone in about 30 min. It is a good idea to sort out all of the washers and bolts. Some look very similar, but if you take the time to organize them first, it is a breeze. Directions were clear and all of the drill holes lined up.

Am very pleased with this table. Needed something smaller for my breakfast area and it fits perfectly. I have 2 larger chairs with it and don't know if it would handle 4 chairs - possible if they were smaller width chairs. Wood pattern on top was a nice touch and makes it look more expensive. The varnish smell was a bit strong when it was unpacked and hope this goes away over time. Overall, I'm very pleased with this.

This is a beautiful looking table, and putting it together wasn't too hard(according to my hubby). The only complaint is that for some reason we thought it was going to be a bit larger. We purchased leather parson chairs to go with the table and together they look fantanstic.

Easy to assemble even without instructions.. Great finish and quality

I purchased the cherry version. Wood tone is more brown side than red, works well with other wood tones. Had no problem putting the table together by myself...manufacturer gives you guidelines for order to assemble which I found helpful since I was on my own. I am using it in a small dining area that has a ceramic tile floor with an area rug and I have absolutely no concerns about the sturdiness of the table sitting on the rug and it is not wobbly. If you use the correct bolts--there are different lengths for different areas--and put the correct pieces together, I can't imagine you'll have any problems with sturdiness or appearance. Table arrived in timely fasion, great price, looks great, no damange or imperfections. Cherry version I purchased has an attractive "pie" pattern on the top.

Maybe I'm just too used to particle board furniture from a certain Swedish big box furniture store, but I couldn't believe how nice this table was when I opened the box. Everything is gorgeous, solid wood. It was delivered quickly, there was absolutely no damage to any of the pieces, all of the parts were included, and it was easy to assemble. The finish is exactly how it's described and matches my dining room chairs really well. I live in a studio so I needed something small, but wanted something nice. This fit the bill perfectly. I love it. I feel so upscale having something made of solid wood!

Good price, fast delivery, table was packed with care and arrived in excellent condition. Assembly wasn't too difficult or time-consuming. Not really large enough for a dining room table but still high-quality. I bought it because it looks great in my living room with my mission-style furniture. No complaints.

This is a perfect little table if you have a small eating space to fill. The design is great, and it was simple to put together. And it does not feel cheap at all!

It is a very beautiful table. It was very easy to put together (even for someone like me who is all thumbs). The wood is true to color (as far as the pictures go), and it feels like a solid, heavy piece of furniture. The base is a little small for the diameter of the table -- not a problem for me, as I have the table on a tile floor. But I could see that the table might be a little top heavy if it was to be placed on carpet. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. The table is an excellent addition to my home.
