Happy with the set, not with the replacement
I bought the 5-piece set and two additional chairs. I received the set in a week. Assembly was easy, the set looked great and very sturdy. The additional chairs arrived a week later via UPS, both chairs were damaged on the seat frames. I called Overstock and they sent another two replacment to me and arrived in one week. However, one of the back of the replacment chair in this shipment is completely cracked in half!! I used the back of the chair so we ended up with a complete chair. In both shipments from the UPS, the boxes did not show any damages. I am still very happy with the whole purchase and will recommend it, but gave it a "3" because of the disappointment that I had to go through for a replacement. The service from Overstock was very good and handled my issues quickly.

Nice set.
After searching all over the interned for a dining set I fell in love with this one. I waited a long time to purchase it because I felt that the price was a little steep. In the end I didn't see anything else that compared so I went ahead with the purchase. I love the look table/chairs, my only complaint/caution to future buyers is that it scratches very easily. I have a small child and already have multiple fork/spoon and everyday usage marks etched into the surface. So...beware if you are going to use this item often or daily.

Mackenzie 5 piece dining set
I have to say I love this set it is very well constructed. It arrived with no damage in a very timely manor. As for one of the reviews the woman states it had redish spots i believe it was suppose to be that way as I have other black furniture that mimics this same look. Overall I would suggest this to anyone looking to buy a time less piece of furniture. Thank You Overstock :O)

5 piece Dining Set
I was a little leary of what was for me, a major purchase. After talking with my Sister and her dealings with Overstock, I went for it. Very pleased with the entire experience. Table and chairs easily assembled. Looks great. I will be buying more items from this outfit, that's for sure.

Love It!
Table and chairs arrived in less than 5 days!! No damage in transit or delivery - everything was well packaged, which was a concern when we ordered it, but everything arrived undamaged. The table was very easy to put together. The chairs took a bit more time, but once the first one was assembled, it went quickly. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the set, the color was exactly as pictured and described, and the design of the back of the chair make this set unique and attractive. Definitely worth the purchase. We had originally debated between this set and the Marcella dining table and chair set from ***, but this set (Mackenzie) was less money, much better quality, and was delivered to our residence. The only reason we did not give this an excellent rating of 5 stars was that the delivery service would only deliver/drop off the dining room set at the first floor of our building and would not take it directly to our apartment on the 4th floor (there were 4 heavy boxes!). Luckily my fiance and I were able to borrow a dolly to take everything up to the fourth floor...only took 3 trips!! If you are elderly or physically handicapped, please make sure you have others to assist in the delivery and set-up because we were blind-sided by this major inconvenience by the carrier. Otherwise, a pair of very satisfied Overstock.com customers with this purchase and will definitely order furniture from the site, again.

GREAT SET -- Was exactly what I was looking for!
I purchased this table set plus 2 extra chairs to go in my breakfast area. The table is large enough to seat 6... 5 chairs fit very comfortably with plenty of elbow room. One of my chairs arrived damaged, but one call to Overstock Customer Service and it was resolved without any hassle. The finish on the table is beautiful. I had a 1/4" thick glass cut to go on top of the table to protect the surface from my kids (banging forks/cups WILL damage any nice wood table top!). I looked all over Houston for a similar table.... and didn't find anything nearly as pretty, or as great of a price! It was pretty easy to assemble -- I did it all myself. One learning --- make sure not to overtighten the screws... I had one tiny issue with (almost) splintering the chair back. I heard a slight crack and backed off the screw - no worries! Don't be afraid to order online from Overstock -- if anything is damaged they WILL make it right. Great buy!

very nice looking
I love how this set looks. we have been using it for about a month. there is a crack in one of the braids on one of the chairs. I would have given it a five star review but for that crack. the chairs are VERY heavy and of solid quality otherwise. the table looks very nice, it is wobbly but we think our floor is uneven so we have something under one of the legs. the tabletop was cracked when we opened it but the customer service was wonderful and we received a new top in just over a week. it is very easy to put together, just make sure to put the short screws in for the back side of the chair, i accidentally used the long screws on my first chair and went right through the back of the seat b/f I realized my error. Once you figure out the first one each chair takes about 15 minutes.

Love this table!
I was very nervous to buy a table set that I had not actually seen in person. I was pleasantly surprised. The color is exactly as shown online and the quality is so much more than I expected. It is a sturdy table set! The chairs were a little difficult at first to put together, but once we assembled the first chair, the rest took no time to put together. We have received a lot of compliments on the table set. I definitely recommend this dining set.

Decent Value for the Price
Table is fine. Chairs are comfortable. seems to be holding up well (had it for 2 months and no noticeable wear on the finish (used for dinners and light office work.). I was not able to put one of the chairs together b/c it was shipped with defective hardware, but Overstock very quickly sent out replacements once I notified them of the problem. Shipping was very fast. - I had the table in less than a week.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. This is not fine furniture, but it is sturdy (once assembled) and looks decent. Note that some of the hardware that was shipped was defective, but the replacements were fine.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Description is accurate, but NOTE: it does not say in the title that the table top and chair seats are not blak, but cherry. It looks good, but I thought I was buying an all-black table. I just didn't read the description well enough - the TITLE is misleading.
