Cute but poor quality

The rug is very cute. HOWEVER, there is a slippery film/substance on the rug and it is being transferred onto my hardwood floros from walking onto one surface to the other. Tried to clean it (with carpet cleaner), but cannot get it off. Also, the black area is not completely black. It looks like animal print (zebra) with dark gray stripes. Also shreds alot. It's a dark beige.

Soft rug, some problems

The rug is very soft and perfect for my youngins that crawl around. The only problem is that this rug sheds ALOT the first month or so. Next problem is that one side of the rug is constantly raised (from being rolled up for shipment). I have tried placing heavy items on the raised side to get it to stay down, but it still comes back up. Overall good quality.
