Not exactly what I expected. The actual color is gold. I was expecting an ecru/taupe color. The comforter is pretty lightwieght and not really sufficient by itself for the winter. I do not dislike it, just wasnt what I originally had in mind. Still a good deal.
This set is nice - if your mattress is standard depth. However, if you have a pillow top or other thicker than average mattress, the comforter is too narrow and doesn't come down far enough on the sides.
Manufacturers should be required to state this int he description, just as they do with fitted sheets.

I bought this set for my guest room. It was of a darker shade fabric than I had anticipated, but it is still very nice. I don't think I'll use the European Shams, but I like the decorative pillows that came with it. All in all it was a good buy.

I had been shopping for some time for the right bedding ensemble, and even on sale, they were much more expensive and had fewer pieces than this one did. This ensemble is very pretty on the bed, and it seems to be durable, too, as we have pets up and down on the bed all the time.

This bedding ensemble works for me, I purchased this around christmas time. I needed something that made a statement!!! And this sure did! Everyone loves it even my husband and he never comments on any of my bedding. I have yet not had to clean it and hope not to do so if I can help it, it's just for show. And it looks great I have other bedding for sleeping which I have purchased from Overstock and so far I give them all a 5 star. The fabric seems good nothing is falling apart,the color is great and it comes with so many pillows!! The fabric is very rich looking ! What a great price too,no one has to know but of cause some do ask .So just like I said it's just for show and tell..lol Sweet Dreams!!!
