I was looking for a rug that could pull off a "folk art/arts & crafts" feel, but still had the elegant presence of a traditional persian rug. I bought the Lyndhurst 5x7 rug after reading the other reviewers' comments, and I am so happy I did! The rug is much more vibrant in person; the red is a deep true red (not burgundy or orange-red); there's black, light denim blue, medium olive green, light sage green, medium mustard yellow, and what looks to be orange on my computer is a very deep salmon color. The pile is thick and tight, very soft to walk on but feels very sturdy underfoot. The only problem I had was that one side didn't want to lay flat after I unrolled it from the shipping packaging. I had to set some heavy books on it for about a week before it would flatten enough so I wouldn't trip on it.
I'm exceedingly happy about this rug and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, less-formal-but-still-elegant rug.
