Lyndhurst Collection Traditional Multicolor/ Ivory Rug (5'3 x 7'6)

I was looking for a rug that could pull off a "folk art/arts & crafts" feel, but still had the elegant presence of a traditional persian rug. I bought the Lyndhurst 5x7 rug after reading the other reviewers' comments, and I am so happy I did! The rug is much more vibrant in person; the red is a deep true red (not burgundy or orange-red); there's black, light denim blue, medium olive green, light sage green, medium mustard yellow, and what looks to be orange on my computer is a very deep salmon color. The pile is thick and tight, very soft to walk on but feels very sturdy underfoot. The only problem I had was that one side didn't want to lay flat after I unrolled it from the shipping packaging. I had to set some heavy books on it for about a week before it would flatten enough so I wouldn't trip on it. I'm exceedingly happy about this rug and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, less-formal-but-still-elegant rug.

Beautiful colors that go perfectly with my decor. Thick and luxurious. Vibrant colors. I put this under my dining room table over light colored carpeting to protect against spills. I figure with the multicolored rug, any stains wouldn't show as much as on my light colored carpeting. Makes my dining area look "pulled together".

I purchased this rug for my dining room and it really pulled the whole room together. The colors are rich and complimentary to the space. What amazed me most was that the rug layed flat immediately after unrolling! No egdes sticking up or weird waves. I highly recommend this rug.

This rug looks great in my living room. I love the colors. It brightens and warms my living room. It was delivered just a few days after ordering. I also purchased a rug pad so it lays flat and stays in place. Another plus is that my cat is not enticed to stretch her claws on the rug which was a big concern of mine.
