Purchased this down comforter for my bedroom. I was devastated when I opened the box and saw that the color was NOTHING like the one I saw online! It is only somewhat soft and not very thick and fluffy. It is a great size and the down is spread evenly throughout but the 'clay' color is more pink than anything. I am very disappointed and will be returning this item.
I ended up buying two of these because I ordered the wrong color the first time. I decided to keep it though because it is such a nice comforter and I thought I could use it in my guest bedroom. These are very high quality comforters and a generous size too. It's a little noisy but all down comforters are that way. I have down blankets in the house and there is nothing like down! This comforter is heavier than a blanket so it would be nice for winter. I originally ordered this for our RV and it looks great. It will keep us warm when we leave Michigan for a winter in Arizona.
This comforter had a really bad odor right out of the box. You can't machine wash it and dry-cleaning is expensive. The odor in and of itself is just unbearable and it fills the entire room. I am not able to sleep under this comforter, which is why I'm returning it.
