This hypoallergenic featherbed is filled with white goose feathers and down and features a luxurious damask cabana stripe. The pillow top fabric is 330 thread count, 100-percent cotton. This featherbed has a 5-inch side wall with two piped seams, a 5-inch baffled-box construction.
The featherbed is filled with 95-percent special small grade white goose feathers and 5-percent white goose down. The pillowtop compartment is filled with white goose down.

My grandmother had a "true" featherbed. As a child I loved sleeping in her bed. As an adult I have purchased several featherbed mattress toppers. I usually replace them every 2 or 3 years. In my lifetime Ive owned about 5 total. I also purchased a memory foam topper 3 years ago, I liked it but it wasn't as soft as a featherbed. I frequently shop online at Overstock and when I saw this featherbed I purchased it. Within a month the feathers started poking through the top. Talk about uncomfortable! I continually had to fluff it, which meant I had to remove the sheets every other day, and every time I shook it out the feathers went everywhere. It truly was NOT worth the hassle so after 2 months I removed it and put the memory foam pad back on my bed. that was 4 months ago and I am STILL pulling feathers out of my mattress. What a waste of money and time!
I am disappointed in this product. It was used for about a week and then the feathers started coming out EVERYWHERE! They imbeded in the matress and I had to pick them all out by hand. The feathers were also VERY poky and stuck to clothing, carpet and matress. WHAT A MESS!! I don't feel that it is worth the $$.
Ever get into bed and feel cold from the sheets? Well this instantly warms you up. In fact I often kick off our down comforter now. the only negative is the need to fluff it up every 3-4 days which involves pretty much unmaking the bed. Also, the smell really did dissapate after about 24 hours out of the wrapping.

I don't move much when sleeping at night, so quite often I would wake up with sore hips. The feather bed cushions my hips so I awake with no more sore hips! It's soooooo comfortable! And the price was terrific for a King size. Also, the 330 thread count cuts down on feathers escaping. I would recommend this feather bed to everyone - try it, you'll love it!

I have been looking for three months for a good quality feather bed. It was not easy. The one I ordered was better then any I saw. None of the feather beds had all goose down and the prices were twice to three times highter. Also the fabric was excelant quality. I'm so glade I ordered (my firt) from you and it will not be the last. Thanks again.
