I ordered several packages belonging to this same group of toweling. The 8-pc bath towel set, after having to cut off the loose threads, washing them, cutting off more loose threads are actually pretty absorbant and soft. The 'toast' color is kind of inbetween gold and taupe, which I found very pleasing and restful. Unfortunately, the set that I ordered that included 2 bath mats in the same color, when I finally did get them were a sick, baby puke shade of orange-yellow and do not blend in with the nice color of all the bath toweling. Oh well, you live and learn. I buy all our bedlinens from Overstock and have always been more than pleased. Maybe I should just stick with that.

These towels are so soft and absorbant I would love to replace all my towels with this brand. Overstock got the order to me fast as always, great product from great source.

I ordered the "toast" towels, thinking they would be a darker taupe color. I was wrong. They are more of a burnt gold, much darker and with yellower undertones than portrayed in the photo. The quality of the fabric is also lacking; they felt scratchy out of the bag. They may soften up after washing, but I chose to send them back so I can't comment on that.

Beautiful rich color. Very soft. My only negative comment, also stated by another reviewer, is that you have to prewash at least two to three times for all the lint to be removed. I purchased black towels, so having black lint all over you after showering made my husband feel the need to shower again. Otherwise a nice set of towels.

I bought two sets. One in mocha and one in burgundy. Very soft and pretty out of the package. Three washes and three dry cycles later they are still pilling and leaving lint on skin. I've have had to clean the lint catch in the dryer twice during each cycle. I've also tried brushing them and tried a lint roller, but nothing has worked yet. I feel I've wasted my money.

I purchased these for my guest bathroom. The bath towels are being used as decoration, however the hand towels are in use. There are a few strings hanging on these but it is not too bad, hence the 4 for Fabric Quality. I think I will purchase another set for real use. Thanks Overstock for having the items that are GREAT for the home.

These may be Egyptian cotton, but they are not "luxurious." As thin as Motel 6 towels. I got the "gold" and it came in copper, which doesn't fit my color scheme at all. Good luck to you.

I bought these towels for my newly remodeled bathroom. They are amazing and worth every penny of the price.

Nice product and fast shipment. The only issue I had is that it took two complete washes before they stopped "pilling" when in use. For example, when using the washcloth, it would leave little flecks of cotton material on your skin .... Otherwise, I recommend purchasing them....
