Upon opening the plastic bag there was a STRONG chemical smell. I am hoping that upon washing it will go away. Right now I am two rooms away from the towels and I can still smell them. Also, there are several ink-looking stains on them. I am hoping that once washed the towels meet the quality of the other reviews but for now I'd have to say "Bad Choice."
These towels are as good as sliced bread. They absorb water like a shammy and are soft and luxorous when applied to the skin. I wish I hadn't waited so long to purchase them.
These towels are good quality and are exactly what you pay for. I bought the white towels so I can't comment on the colour, but I may buy more for another bathroom!
I had ordered a set for a friend's birthday gift, and liked them so much I bought a set for myself. Towels are nice quality and well made. If you are giving these as a gift, and explanation might be needed. There is no package design. Towels arrive in a clear plastic bag, and the only indication of what they are is a small tag that says "Egyptian Cotton." My friend could see that they were towels (of course), but had to open it up and take one out to see that they are bath sheets. I'm very happy with the product... and my friend is, too!
