Luxurious Brown Leather Sofa and Loveseat

These sofas are so beautiful and we absolutely love them except for one thing - they sit very high. So much so that it feels awkward sitting in them. My husband has long legs and even he didn't like how high they sat. I'm 5'6" and my feet hung just shy of the floor. Our solution was to remove the feet and let them sit flat on the floor. That made them perfectly comfortable for us, plus no dust bunnies or anything else lurking under the sofas. We haven't found the cushions to be too stiff as some have. They may have been a bit stiff at first but they have softened up with use but not too much. Just the right balance of support and comfort. The leather is very smooth and soft but also verily easily punctured by our cat's claws (she's now an outdoor kitty). So if you have cats, be warned. Unlike cloth covered sofas, these will show every little hole your cat will leave behind. By just walking on the sofa a cat with long, sharp claws may leave punctures behind. And if they try to "knead" their claws into the sofa, yep, you will immediately be calling the vet to have them declawed when you see what they leave behind! (or banish them to the outdoors like we did) Shipping was next door to a nightmare. It took far longer than we were told. Overstock promised to credit us some money back to make up for it but I haven't verified yet if that's been done.

At first we were pretty skeptical about buying furniture over the internet- but we are sooo happy we took a risk on these. The materials, workmanship and attention to detail are excellent! These look and feel like $8,000 couches! The leather is slightly darker than pictured - which is a good thing. Also, I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about with the cushions being too firm. I think their firmness is perfect - just enough give, but still provides support. We have these couches in our hearth area and sit on them every chance we get! Absolutely love them!!

I have been watching this furniture on Overstock for more than a year and reading every review. I finally purchased it and I LOVE IT! Yes the cushions are a bit stiff but we've had it in our family room for about 6 weeks now and they have softened up. The color is beautiful and the leather is so soft. The stitching detail is great. If you are looking for a great leather sofa and loveseat for a family that isn't going to break the bank this is it.

Our new sofa and love seat are beautiful - better than the picture. The leather is soft and supple, very comfortable, and the seats are high which pleases my husband. The delivery was A+ so the whole experience with Overstock is better than my expectations. Thank you.

The furniture is of solid construction and the leather nicely hand crafted. The color is on the redish brown side and the brass buttons match well. The white glove delivery was quick and professional. We paid an additional $80 for them to take our old sofa and loveseat away. But I do wish we would have been able to actually sit in the furntiture before we made such a major purchase. I don't think we would have selected this one if we had... From the description, we were expecting something more 'soft and luxurious'. This couch and loveseat are very uncomfortable to sit on with a very stiff innerspring seat that's too firm and very high. And if you're short (I'm 5'3") your feet don't touch the floor unless you sit halfway forward in the seat. I end up having to sit on my feet or brace myself with the coffee table. There are a lot of leather furntiture sales in our area right now and comparable pieces are selling for under what we paid at even the Club O price and almost free delivery. So overall, we're not as happy with this purchase as we have been with other Overstock furniture purchases... It'd be costly and a huge hassle to return, so we'll have to make the best of it and hope that maybe it will soften up with use.
