Floor lamp is of excellent quality. It is sturdy and weighted well. It sits firmly on carpeting. The dual lighting component is great. I recommend the lamp and would encourage anyone considering the purchase to do so.

I love this lamp and again the other reviews tip the scales for this product. I have two small pug puppies and the other lamp I had they knocked over hence the reason I purchased a new one.I am a buyer/purchasing agent by trade and researching other lamps online I came back to the "O". Other companies had a simular or the exact product I purchased for a higher price. No one wants to pay more for the same product. But what tipped the scale for me was the mention of a well built product with a very heavy base so my puppies when they are playing could not knock over the lamp. So far so good they have not been able to kncok it over.If you are looking for the best value in a floor lamp look no further you can not beat the looks of this product or the price either.Happy shopping.

This lamp was purchased to replace a similar lamp that had broken. This one is so much better constructed. It assembled easily if not quickly. The light itself is more user-friendly. I wish I had a need for another, it is so nice. The gunmetal color is pleasing. The shade softens the light from above. My husband I are both very pleased with this purchase.

This lamp is a SHINY steel gray and very modern looking. And very tall. I should of looked at the height better. I bought 2 hoping to co-ordinate since both my husband and I like to read at night.I find it stable on solid floors but on carpeting a little wobbly.I love the reading light but we have a 2 story open home and you can look right down on the open fixture. It was well packaged so no chance of asking my husband to re-box and return these.This will have to do for now.

I'm really impressed with the lamp overall. The two bulbs on the torch put off a lot of light, and it looks really nice (not quite as shiny as in the picture, which I appreciate). My only complaint is that the poles don't screw into the base, so the lamp is a little wobblier than I'd expect for a lamp of this price.

I searched for days to find the perfect lamps for my bedroom. The torch light provides an beautiful atmosphere. The side lamps were just what I was looking for reading and doing my puzzles in bed. The best feature of all is the accessibility of the switches. The exact same lamps were on the target website for $$. more a piece.

This is a great light for my knitting needs! I can hunker in the corner of the couch with the spotlight over my work and knit away for hours. The lamp looks good and provides a nice light in the room. It IS a slight bit wobbly on our carpet, but I imagine on better quality carpet or hardwood floors, it would be most stable. Great lamp, though, especially if it's out of the way of wobbly children, dogs, or cats!

Delivery was timely, packaging efficient, and easy to put together. The lamp replaced a similar one that my daughter took with her when she moved. This lamp is much more stable than the old one. The lighting is great and is an excellent purchase.

This is a beautiful lamp. The only real problem I have with it is it did not come with a screw for the base. You need to put the legs in the base and screw them in. It is very unstable and keeps falling out and falling over.

I expected a nice lamp. It is really a great piece. Does exactly what it says. Had it for about three weeks and am very pleased with the appearance, the stability of the piece and how easy it was to put together.

Love the appearance! And the function. Down light for reading, up light for ambience. Assembly took two of us. Very stable, not too wiggly. I was expecting more of a stainless steel look, but it is definitely a shiny, dark gray. Only complaint...the switches seem backwards, top switch controls the down light and the bottom switch controls the up light.

I bought this lamp because I had another similar one that I liked -- this one is much sturdier than the one I already had, and that one had cost much more. I think that this is a real bargain.

Nice sturdy lamp. Attractive & functional. I have 2 active boys under 3 years old - so far they haven't been able to knock it over - the base is weighted very well.
