This is well built. We like the color and it wasn't too hard to put together. The one main drawback that I wish I would have noticed is that unlike many electric fireplaces, this one does not have a remote to turn it off. So if you are using it in your bedroom, you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Obviously our fault for not paying close enough attention. It does look nice in our house though.
