I've had this fireplace for about 2 years. It puts out enough heat to keep the lliving room comfortable with the furnace turned down. Wish it had the 2 bookcases on either side, but am looking for those seperate.

We are very pleased with our fire place. My husband who is NOT "mr. fix it "easily put the fire place together. It puts out enough warmth for our living room to feel very comfortable. The front does not get hot or even warm so it is safe for our one year old who loves to watch the flame. The only thing I could ask for is a brighter flame but it is enough.

We were happy with the ease of assembly and the overall appearance. It looks beautiful. Wish these electric fireplaces could come with "crackling and real burning fire" sound boxes. We are pleased with the purchase and it is a lovely addition to our home. Ship time was only 5 days from placement of order. That was amazing as it was during the holiday season.

I bought this for Xmas 2009 and placed in a 12' x 16' sitting room with many windows adjoined to a 10'x 10' bedroom. It's lovely, very classic design. The assembly is fairly straight forward---about 12 wood panels attached by wooden dowels and screws---DEFINITELY USE SOME CARPENTERS' GLUE TO SUPPLEMENT THE DOWELS. I'm not impressed by the heat it emits, on the thermostat set on high, it keeps my 2 rooms between 70 and 73 degrees F. We live in a temperate zone, mid atlantic region, winters are often mild.

I just bought the Luxemburg Classic Mahogany Electric fireplace. Assembly was very easy and we used wood glue as added support. We put it in our bedroom and it looks really nice. It does warm up the room on a really cold day but otherwise I don't feel a lot of heat. It gives off nice ambience! My only complaint is that it sticks away from the wall a little bit due to the cord. I was hoping it would be perfectly flush. It looks beautiful though!

Not to hard to assemble. The heat is great. It heats up seconds after you start it. Looks great in our living room.

I loved this when i first got it. It was pretty, went well w/ the decor and real wood. However, after using it for 1 winter season, we turned it off and it would never come on again. Completely dead. If u Google this you will see I am not the only one this has happened to. Overstock said I could return the whole thing, for partial credit because I don't have the original packing and I would have to disassemble the whole thing, find something to pack it in and ship it back. I suggested they just send me a new firebox and they said they couldn't do that. So now I am stuck with a fireplace with no fire!!! For this reason I would not reccomend this to anyone, unless you enjoy throwing money away!

I was impressed from the minute we opened the box and started to remove the parts. It was much easier to assembly than I thought - only took around an hour. Once assembled and turned on we dimmed the lights and sat back and admired our impressingly beautiful new addition to the family room. Our family room was an addition and the previous owners apparently did not insulate it well and it was always around 7-8 degrees colder than the rest of the house. Now it is warm and cozy. I actually was surprised at the warmth. The room is 12 x 16 and the fireplace needs to be turned down or off occasionly because it gets too warm - a good thing. The cabinet is very pretty and fairly well made. The assembly was very time consuming but the directions were clear. The "fire" is fairly realistic. Not exactly real looking, but much better than a lot that I've seen. The features are very versatile. You can use it with or without heat. With or without fan. I would definitely recommend this product.

I received the fireplace 5 days after the day I ordered it, which was exactly what the estimated time of arrival was, which was great because it's been a cold winter in Wisconsin. It took me about an hour to put it together and I love it. It is beautiful in my living room. I love the Cherry wood and the design and size are perfect. The fire and embers in the firebox are very cute. The embers look real but you can tell that the fire is not real but it really does look good. It looks great at night with candles on in the room. My living room is small so the heat that is generated by the firebox is perfect for the room. Overall an excellent product and I would recommend this fireplace to everyone. It is a great value for the money. I like this fireplace more than any other fireplace I saw in any store for it's size and price.
