Make Excellent Clear Ice
Clear ice - it's the kind you get at restaurants and hotels - but (almost) never at home, unless you bought a commercial ice machine. It really is a lot better than the crescent-shaped ice made by refrigerators, and with this machine you can finally make it at home. It's a great bar/kitchen accessory if you like a lot of drinks on the rocks. As promised, it makes nice cubes of ice that are nice and clear, and it makes it pretty quick - on the order of 10-15 minutes per batch. The manual it comes with is pretty bad, but there's not too much to figure out. There is only a single button on the lid, and although it is labeled on/off, it unfortunately does different things depending on how long you hold it. I guess I'm saying the control panel could be improved. Note - this machine looks a lot like other countertop ice makers that make hollow, cloudy tubes of ice - but this one is much different! I think this is currently the only company making a clear ice machine like this. Get this one if you want perfect ice cubes in your drinks!

No problems the first month, makign ice and runnin
Time will tell - I have had another brand and it failed three times the first year. this ws bought as a replacement. it has much lower capacity, but it is making ice just fine.

Great little machine!
This does exactly what it says. It makes beautiful, clear ice. You can even adjust it to make the cubes thicker if needed. Its quick, quiet, and clean! Get it.

So far so good.
I've been through many countertop ice makers. They last about a year or so. This one isn't a year old yet so I can't say great things about its durability. However, it does make beatiful clear ice. None of the other countertop models to this. For that alone, it's worth the money. If it lasts more than a year I will be surprised because it is still a lot of moving parts made out of plastic and metal that will fail, especially since water is involved. So far so good though!

Nice Clear Ice
Makes clean clear ice, we only use purified water in the ice maker. Nice size cubes. Gives plenty of ice. Easy to fill, but not so easy to drain every 24 hours. Had we known this we would have choose another brand that recycles the water instead of wasting it.

Great Ice Maker
Attempted to replace refrigerator ice maker; but that was not the problem. This convinced my wife to let me put this portable ice maker in the kitchen. We are both pleased with how quickly it make ice. After the first week this unit started making a louder noise so we can't leave it on just anytime. The portable ice maker does not keep ice from melting so having a freezer storage for ice is something you should consider. What works best for is is a large bin in the door that has a chute to fill glasses. The refrigerator ice maker would take two days to fill this bin. the Luma Portable Clear Ice Maker can fill the bin in 2 hours.

Excellent ice maker!
I bought one of these ice makers back in May when I got tired of buying ice from the grocery store and my refrigerator ice maker decided to die on me. I have got to say that this product is amazing. Operation is too easy. I just pour water and push a button. I like the fact that it makes clear ice, which makes it stand apart from a lot of the other portable ice machines out there. My only gripe is that its not as instantaneous as I thought (I dont get 30 pounds of ice in 5 minutes). But the machine does start making ice in a few minutes. I havent had any problems with it so far, so fingers crossed.
