  • Amazing Air Cooler

    It's incredibly hot here in Arizona all Spring and Summer long. We already have a swamp cooler on the main floor, but needed something for my bedroom. I was looking for a portable unit that I could move from the office to the bedroom without issue, and decided to go with the Luma unit because of the design. It seemed like a good deal for the price, and after a summer of use, it's AMAZING! It was easy to set up. Just fill the water tank and plug the unit in. I really like the remote control and the size of the unit. It's also very quiet, making it perfect for the bedroom. I highly recommend this unit, particularly if you live in a dry climate, like we do here. It's worth every penny!

    The first one I ordered had a cracked water tray so not only impossible to cool, but, the fan does not even turn on without the tray in! 2nd fan came with broken wheel - no way to fix, had to return this lopsided fan, 3rd fan arrived with broken wheel...tried to keep it, put a book under it to steady it, but, when we put the coolant in the water to test it out - had a strong burning odor, almost like an electrial fire was about to happen. That did it! Returned the 3rd and final one! I have to say that customer service was wonderful!! They tried to help as much as possible and even gave me a store credit for my troubles. Taking back all these huge boxes and finding a *** store in our area, was not easy! Still in search for a cooling alternative to an air conditioner.

  • Luma ec110S portable evaporative cooler

    This was delivered 2 days after I ordered it. Thank you for that. I was so glad to get this, and it works like a charm for a large 550 sf room. It also kinda cools a hall and small bathroom if I leave all doors open. This just makes the air cool enough to tolerate, it's like a cool evening breeze with added moisture. Works fine with hot, dry climate. Not the best on humid days unless you sit right in front of it. I haven't used the 2 ice blocks yet, but I fill up the entire water bin with ice, then water. Some days it uses water very fast and I have to fill tank every2 to 3 hours. Normal heat days it's every 6 hours on 1 tank of h2O. Machine is quiet on low, white noise on 2 and 3. Keep it on firm ground or it leaks. Glad I have this, it's cool and easy to use, and light enough to move around on it's wheels or to carry.
