Glasses are very small and I was disappointed initially.But, it's worth the price you pay. Very simple, you wont be devastated when they break!

Wow- these are such great quality - I missed an opportunity by not ordering two sets- Look lovely on the table- great for a small glass of water to or when wine is also served

I loved these water goblets. We use them for every meal. I just wish they made them in a larger size also.

Whenever I send a gift, make a recommendation, or need glassware for myself, it is always by Luigi Bormioli.You get far more than what you pay for, but the best way to compare is to buy a set yourself. LB has several different lines, and I wish all of them were offered by Overstock.com. I have a set of fine crystal, but I could not afford the water goblets, so I checked out the "O" and bought these. Everyone asks me where I got them, etc. They compliment fine dining celebrations, but they are reasonably enough priced to use everyday.

These glasses are not 9.5 ounces. They are 8 ounces. I can't see them being used as water goblets. I bought them to use as wine glasses and they are absolutely wonderful. They are not too thin or too thick, they are perfect. I don't care for long stemmed wine glasses, that's why I purchased these. They are so classy and just perfect for casual wine drinking. I give them a 10 star rating.
