I agree with the other reviews. The headboard is big. Make sure you measure carefully. Assembly was easy and the bed looks great! I love this bed. It will be a piece that will last for a long time and easy to match with any decor. Definitely worth the price.

This really is a beautiful piece of furniture. it's very tall and large, so measure your room right! Assembly is not complicated (do not get intimidated by all boxes and packaging!), but it would be very hard with just a regular screwdriver, cause screws do not go in easily. You do need two people just because of the size of the elements.It was a very expensive purchase on my budget, but it's modern and timeless at the same time, and will always fit any decor.

If you are thinking about buying this bed, make sure to measure where you will bring it in! The headboard is delivered in one gigantic piece (6'X7'). We could not get it in our condo (we live on the third floor of an 1800's house). Eventually my husband had to very carefully saw the headboard partway through, leaving the upholstering on the front intact, and fold it in half to get it in the house. We then reassembled it by using tie plates and you can't tell at all. The bed is very heavy and of sturdy construction. The slats are attached to a metal frame, which seems more secure than wood. Other than getting the bed into the house, we haven't had any problems with the bed at all, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who lives on the first floor!
