- When buying mirrors especially for bathrooms, it is important to look for mirrors that are backed with silver. As steam from showers fill the room it combines with the metal in the mirror and the mirror will begin to rust. Double coated silver mirrors (as this one is) have the most tolerance to humidity and will last significantly longer. On a side note they also produce a warmer reflection than Aluminum. This mirror is also made using high quality float glass. Have you ever seen a mirror where the reflection is just not right. It may be a bit blurry in the distance or warp you image, these mirrors are usually made using sheet glass. Float glass mirrors have a much cleaner finish which yield much less distortion

Beautiful Mirror!!
I ordered this mirror with hesitation after reading the only review at the time, that it was delivered in shards due to insufficient packing. But loving the design, I decided to take a chance. I am very happy that I did. First of all, I couldn't believe how quickly my mirror arrived. It was at my door in 4 days and packed much better than I had expected. It was in perfect condition. It is now hanging in my newly remodeled second floor bathroom and it truly gorgeous!! I have since ordered 4 more items from Overstock and couldn't be happier with the first two (I am waiting for delivery of the second two). They arrived quickly, very well packaged and exactly as described! I highly recommend this mirror and will definitely do business with Overstock in the future!

Heavy large mirror. Very bright and crystal clear. Looks great with chrome fixtures. Contemporary but upscale feel. Arrived quickly and well packaged. We bought two!

Looks nice on photos...
I wish I could have my mirror and for it to be hung up on my wall. Unfortunately this mirror came to me in shards and pieces. It was NOT packed well. Be very cautious in buying mirrors online, I guess.
