I just needed an extra pop of color and style in my small living room and the green works great. It won't be used frequently, but is comfortable enough for when needed.

I love these chairs. They look fabulous on my deck and everybody loves to sit in them. They are not very high but very comfortable for a medium size person. They look very much like the originals. I bought the green chairs, looks great.

Ordered the chair the first time in blue but it never came, so Overstock did a good job in refunding me. The next time it came quickly but made sure they sent the correct color and changed it to green. Putting one fastener was hard and it took two of us but we did it.

Chair arrived covered in filth- cleaned off black, thick dust before assembling. After assembling with the given screws and hardware, marks were made on (the opposite side) the seat of the chair where the screws went in (a light green color appeared through the lime green plastic). The plastic seems durable enough that it should not have happened. I do like the look of the chair but am annoyed that I have a brand new chair the appears defective ON TOP of the grime it was delivered in!

Bought this rocker over two years ago when expecting our first child. Have used it as my go-to nursery rocker ever since and absolutely love it. It's sturdy, comfortable and still looks brand new after daily use for so long. Expecting baby number 2 and will use this rocker in the new nursery as well. Excellent neutral color, I have it in a cream-colored room now and will put it in a light green room for the next kiddo and it fits both decors well.

deborahan from Seattle is a maroon with a caboose the size of a hippo's, I'm guessing.

I purchased this chair for my grandson. It is on the small side, perfect for tight spaces, but quite comfortable. My daughter liked it so much she wants one for the nursery. I like the fact that it moves easily from place to place.

This is a CHILDREN'S CHAIR. Buyers beware! The cost of shipping the huge box prevented me from returning it. Yes, it's my fault that I didn't realize how small this chair is and now I get to pay the price by trying to sell this thing on Craig's List. I'm furious that there was no indication of this as with the other children's furniture. So I can't really tell you about the chair since I CAN'T SIT IN IT.

Midcentury modern refers to the time period between 1930 and 1965 when designers and architects began focusing on simple yet creative design. It was during this period that famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright experimented with organic architecture, building some of his most well-known homes and using scenery to inspire innovative designs. Some of the most recognizable furniture was also designed during this time period. From the Eames lounge chair to the slender tulip chair, the midcentury movement produced pieces that are still staples in modern homes. To get the midcentury look in your own home, use simple pieces of furniture combined with these essential decorative accessories.

In reference to home design from the '60s and '70s, retro means a room with shag carpets, bold repeating prints, and furniture with soft lines. Retro shag rugs and rugs with big patterns add the perfect amount of vintage feel and can be the foundation for many different room designs.
