Not as nice as the pic
I really liked the look of this bed in the picture, but the quality in person doesn't quite hold up. The seaming on the edges of the headboard are not very tight, which gives it a cheap feeling, and the box spring (which is a necessity still or the mattress will sink too far in) is visible over the top of the frame. The photo pictured here does not accurately show that proportional issue. Even though the description says wood, something about the staining or the thickness makes it feel like particleboard instead. The platform itself only has a few wooden support beams, so not sure how sturdy or long-lasting this bed will be. This wasn't the cheapest bed I looked at, so I figured it would be a bit more high quality, but I think I would have been better off at *** for the money.
