    • Great value but no dovetails

      We purchased this set for our guest room thinking if it had dovetailed drawers it has to be made well. That was our reasoning for trying Overstock.com for furniture. There were no dovetailed drawers and the "cherry" stain is really almost red compared to all our other pieces of cherry furniture. We're pleased with the value of this set for a guest room but would not be happy with this set in a master suite. We did receive this set within two weeks of purchase and the delivery man was very helpful. Set up was a snap and there was not a single flaw in the finish. Also, if you remove the drawers be sure to remember which spot they came from as they do not want to go back in-even though they are the same size .

    • Bedroom Set

      The furniture is a great value for the money. It looks nice, and looks a lot more expensive than it was. I love the hidden drawers. The drawers are NOT dove tail construction and while hardwood there is particle board on the back - hence only 3 stars on workmanship. It was very easy to assemble. I would have been thrilled but my opinions are a bit influenced because the dresser came damaged . The bigger issue was that Overstock was not clear as to how they wanted to handle it, first they said an adjuster would come and then a week later said ship it back. In the end they did right by me and picked up the damaged piece and replaced it but it took about two weeks total. It's just that I had a box and dresser sitting in the middle of the dining room. For the money and the rich look, I'd do it again and i would recommend it, but I'd also say be patient when receiving over sized freight.

      This is a good product for the value. It comes with assembly required and the weight of the product is substantial. Have a friend close by to help. The wood was lighter in color that shown in the photo but still was nice. The furniture is made in Vietnam and the construction was adequate. I was disappointed when I opened the box the mirror came in and it was cracked. Overall, I would recommend this furniture set to anyone. It definitely spruced up our room!

      Such a beautiful cherry color! we constantly get compliments on how beautiful our bedroom set is! Looks much more expensive than it really was! People always assume that we paid top dollar for our set. The wood, while beautiful, is very soft so do be careful it will scratch very very easily. I completely recommend buying the warranty.

    • cheap

      Spent a lot of money on this set. Not worth it. Draws are cheaply made, off track from the day we got it. Took 3 months to even receive the set. I could of gone to a furniture store and bought better quality. Came with scratches and dents in foot and head Bord, so had to have it replaced. Looks nice in the picture, but I wanted better, stronger quality.

      Love my new guest room. Feel very happy about the appearance of this room now. Quality of set was better than expected.Great value and so glad that I purchased. Delivered to only my garage, needed two people to assemble.

    • Good Deal

      My 15 year old son chose this bedroom set for himself. He's really pleased with it. One of the things he likes most about it is that both the dressers and the nightstand come with small drawers above the normal sized drawers. He likes to keep his wallet, pictures, and other small items in these drawers. The stain is not as red as the picture depicts, and we were both pleased by that. He assembled the pieces himself, and said it was simple and quick.
