The furniture is a great value for the money. It looks nice, and looks a lot more expensive than it was. I love the hidden drawers. The drawers are NOT dove tail construction and while hardwood there is particle board on the back - hence only 3 stars on workmanship. It was very easy to assemble. I would have been thrilled but my opinions are a bit influenced because the dresser came damaged . The bigger issue was that Overstock was not clear as to how they wanted to handle it, first they said an adjuster would come and then a week later said ship it back. In the end they did right by me and picked up the damaged piece and replaced it but it took about two weeks total. It's just that I had a box and dresser sitting in the middle of the dining room. For the money and the rich look, I'd do it again and i would recommend it, but I'd also say be patient when receiving over sized freight.

Love my new guest room. Feel very happy about the appearance of this room now. Quality of set was better than expected.Great value and so glad that I purchased. Delivered to only my garage, needed two people to assemble.

My 15 year old son chose this bedroom set for himself. He's really pleased with it. One of the things he likes most about it is that both the dressers and the nightstand come with small drawers above the normal sized drawers. He likes to keep his wallet, pictures, and other small items in these drawers. The stain is not as red as the picture depicts, and we were both pleased by that. He assembled the pieces himself, and said it was simple and quick.

Although Overstock did not advertise this bedroom suite as Bassett, I thought it was because the name was the same " Louis Philippe" . I was disappointed to find that it was not Bassett, made in America, but instead, made in Vietnam. This is a nice bedroom suite, but I had envisioned the Bassett one with deep, Dovetail drawers which this does not have. It is heavy and nice looking, but on closer inspection we are not completly satisfied due to it's short drawers, which limit space. It came fully assembled; it was a good thing my husband was home when it was delivered, as there was only one delivery man, and with the weight of the furniture he would have never been able to unload the truck alone or without another strong individual. Don't leave your 80 year old mother to wait for your delivery.

This set is sooo much for the value. I had priced and looked at sleigh beds with only a mirror and dresser and it was well over $2000.00. The workmanship is phenonmenal. Makes you feel like a million bucks. It truly is worth the money. It is a nice warm cherry color, true to description. All pieces came in on freight, no damage, but a few minor scrapes on the back. My thoughts, who is looking at the back of a piece of furniture. Not Me!!! and really they aren't that noticeable. I would buy this set over and over again. I am also contemplating purchasing the black one for my spare bedroom. A beautiful set that really no one should pass up!

This furniture is truly gorgeous. The only problem I had was that the left rail on the bed cracked and needed to be replaced after 3 days. Maybe the wood on that left rail was dry rotted - I don't know but overstock customer care rushed me a rail at no cost in a matter of days. It been almost a month and I am loving my new bedroom set. The color is beautiful......the design beautiful............the secret compartments on the dresser, nightstand, and tall dresser are also beautiful.................what else can I say................I LOVE IT!

Overstock and I had our issues, but they perservered and I was ultimately happy with what I got. Shopping around, I think it was $1000.00 cheaper than the department stores.Yeah for their customer service.

The bedroom set came as it was expected. No damage, easy to assemble, Beautiful finish and extra drawers we didn't even know existed. We really would recommend this to a friend and have. The shipping was very fast and quite unexpeted. Set up in no time with everything perfect, not a scratch.Great price, after seeing less for more in a furniture store. The only thing we wanted was one more end table but actually looks great without it. The drawers are so smooth to use, they just glide in and out easily, with pleanty of room to store just about everything and more. We just love it and are very, very pleased with the outcome.

Received this set quickly with no damages. Everything was already assembled except for the bed and the mirror, which needed to be attached to the back of the dresser. Assembly was quick and easy, I did it myself with very little help. I wish the drawers were a bit deeper, but good value for the price anyway.

Excellent value for the price. Exactly what I was looking for in terms of an affordable, traditional looking bedroom set. Agree with previous comment about the color looking slightly more red than the photograph suggests. One piece arrived damaged, but there has been absolutely no hassle in getting a replacement piece sent.

This is a good product for the value. It comes with assembly required and the weight of the product is substantial. Have a friend close by to help. The wood was lighter in color that shown in the photo but still was nice. The furniture is made in Vietnam and the construction was adequate. I was disappointed when I opened the box the mirror came in and it was cracked. Overall, I would recommend this furniture set to anyone. It definitely spruced up our room!

We purchased this set for our guest room thinking if it had dovetailed drawers it has to be made well. That was our reasoning for trying Overstock.com for furniture. There were no dovetailed drawers and the "cherry" stain is really almost red compared to all our other pieces of cherry furniture. We're pleased with the value of this set for a guest room but would not be happy with this set in a master suite. We did receive this set within two weeks of purchase and the delivery man was very helpful. Set up was a snap and there was not a single flaw in the finish. Also, if you remove the drawers be sure to remember which spot they came from as they do not want to go back in-even though they are the same size .
