Of course I was skeptical about buying a bedroom set without having seen it in person. I must tell you that I received it yesterday and absolutely love it. Everything but the bed and the mirror have already been assembled, which saves you a lot of time. They both were assembled withing 15 minutes so they're easily put together. I most definitely recommend this set. I originally wanted an espresso color but could not find something satisfactory. This surpassed my expectations. I actually have an espresso table for my laptop in the room and they go together perfectly. It is easily matched with everything. A must have!!!

I have to admit that I was a little offset by reading the disclaimers on the Overstock website for larger purchases. It was intimedating, but, since Overstock has always done right by me, Im happy to report the following. First and foremost the shipment arrived without any problems. It was on a wooden crate that had been shrink wrapped with all the pieces in one bundle. It was shipped by a freight company that couldn't have been nicer. The contacted me and set up a time for delivery, brought it to my home, and placed it upon my request, up under my carport. The man was very very freindly. It said on the site that it had to be assembled. Much to my surprise, all that need to be assembled was the bed and the mirror that attaches to the dresser. The finish is in black...beautiful and of course goes with anything. One thing I would like to mention is the metal pulls on the pieces. The picture makes them look cheap. I was pleasantly suprised to find that they are a geourgeous pewter look and it is fabulous. Going in a small bedroom, the 18" depth is a fabulous plus cause you have so much drawer space and room to move around. I am enthralled beyond belief of my recent purchase.

I was starting to feel as though the people who work in "oversize shipping" were my friends, because I spent more time with them on the phone than I did with any of my friends. I ordered the set on January 9th and by March 12th was finally done receiving shipments (all 3 of them). They were constantly having to re-send the order because one thing was broken, or scratched, or what-have-you. The people at Overstock were great and very nice and easy to work with, the delivery companies, not as much. Rude on the phone, slow to call, and rarely on time. The set looks nice, but luckily we had black paint that matched to cover the unpainted areas (it was very obvious that they did not paint the bed frame until after putting it together, and the wood had shifted). None of this was exactly Overstocks fault. Majority of the damage just has to do with the quality of the craftmanship. The drawer rollers are pretty terrible. The set does look nice and is MUCH cheaper than other sets in stores. If you have the patience to wait on getting the entire set and being on the phone consistently and have the time to take off from work for the deliveries, than go for it!

We were very pleased with the quality of this set. The drawers are a little flimsy, but the set looks great and it is perfect for my teenager's bedroom. Very easy to put together. We were a little worried about damage on delivery, but all we found was a small scratch on one of the dressers, too minor to to even worry about. Delivery was prompt and on time. The cost was half of the bedroom sets we looked at in the local stores.

We ordered this on Overstock and thought the price was too good to be true. Unfortunately, we were correct. We waited one month after the order was placed for delivery. When delivered 5 of the 7 pieces were ruined. The workmanship was more the reason than the shipping quality. Every piece easily dented and you could lift the entire bed with one hand. This was an awful experience.

We bought this set for our teenage son's bedroom upgrade. It looks as good in person as it does in the ad. The black finish is nicely done and the handle hardware in the satin nickel looks great with the finish. The color looks great in a light brown room, and awesome with the khaki, cream and red bedding and window coverings we have for it. The delivery process went quickly, less than a week, and for the most part, smoothly. The chest had a crushed corner on top, which we didn't see until it was all the way out of the packaging. Overstocks sent out a new one to replace it with minimal time and hassle. While the ad indicated "assembly required", the only thing to put together was the footoard and headboard, and attaching the mirror to the dresser. Our only negative is the drawers don't slide all that smoothly, but they are roomy and hold all our son's clothes, easily. Overall, we feel the set was a good value and works perfectly for its intended purpose.
