excellent stock pot
Great for large quantities of soups, sauces etc. The weight, handles, and quality are exactly what I was looking for and the price was also right. It also had a lid.

Your descriptions are always on the mark!
We were looking for a soup pot that would hold enough to feed our large extended family, and yet still fit on the stovetop. What we purchased was that and more! The bottom of the pan is so thick, that we can make a roux without worrying about burning it. We have not yet tried making candy in it, but I believe it will work well there, too. It cleans up beautifully. and we plan to use it for years. I am considering purchasing another just like it. The 23 quart size is perfect.
