I was very impressed with this set. The place setting looks expensive and of high quality. In addition, there a so many extras eg. salt and pepper shakers, tea pot, cream and sugar bowls and serving tray. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great formal set. There was only on plate that had any type of blemish. It is so small that I decided not to return it because you barely notice it, if at all. It does well in the dishwasher and there was not diminishment of coloration or pattern.

I ordered this item for my daughter's first apartment. They are so beautiful that I ordered me the ones in silver. This is a bargin if there ever was one. The dishes are beautiful!!! It was packaged well and I received them a couple of days after I placed the order. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

This set of porcelain china is beautiful and a great buy! They look so much richer and better in person. Really hold up well in the dishwasher, but I usually use the "China-gentle" cycle to ensure they don't get washed too harshly. ( Just make sure you rinse off any debris leftover from a meal and then put them in dishwasher because they will wash best on the "china-gentle" cycle; otherwise if there's a lot of food left on the plate, you'll probably want to use the " normal" cycle. I don't know if that would make the decorative trim wear out faster or not.) I have to re-heat leftovers on a microwave-safe plate or container first, then transfer food to the regular plate because you can't put metal-trimmed dishes in the microwave. But, that's really no big deal to me. Have used them now for several weeks and really love them! P.S. I only had 3 pieces that were defective when they arrived, so I called the number provided and they sent replacements out right away! Can't ask for better service than that! I have bought really expensive china that starts with the letter "L" and ends with "x" that I also had to call and ask that company for replacements because of defects.......THERE ARE NO PERFECT sets of china out there, trust me.

Great Value for the price and looks expensive too. The tea pot came stained but I contacted them and they sent me a new one right a way.

I was looking for dishwasher safe dishes to use for everyday that would make my table more elegant and this set does it. In fact, I ordered another one the week after so that I now have service for 16. The only thing that takes a little getting used to is that you cannot put metal enhanced dishes in the microwave but I knew that going in. A small price to pay for everyday service that looks like this. I have clear heavy goblets so the table doesn't get too busy and simple but elegant flatware (that I also purchased here at the O). Customer service is great. I'm quite happy!

Very good bargain for this price. The only thing that disappointing to me is that set is very heavy. I thought that porcelain suppose to be light weight.

We purchase this product and then it was in our house in 2 days. There was a problem in one of the salad plate but we called the customer service a replacement plate arrived in a week. The plates are a litter heavier than we thought. Anyways we like the product.

These is the second set of this dinnerware I purchase, I love how elegant they look when you set the table. I ordered a second set because we many times have more than 10 people and I needed to have enough place settings for my guest. Very nice, even my sons like them. I am very satisfy and I should recommend these dinnerware for anybody that likes simplicity and elegance.

The quality is good, I had to remind myself that these dishes are hand painted, so I did find a couple of cups where the paint on the rim had extra paint on them. However I love hand made products and I think that the mistakes you might find on the dishes is because they are precisely that "hand made"

This is the first time I have written a review and I just couldn't stay quiet about this one. It is beautiful and the compliments I received this past Christmas about the table scape reinforced my opinion. People could not believe the value of this set. I ordered it last year for this Christmas and I am ordering another set as a backup. Everything the previous reviewers said is true. Beautifully made, sturdy feel, elegant look, packaged extremely well and dishwasher safe! That was number one on my list of requirements. If you are looking for dinnerware, do not hesitate to purchase this one.

I must be one of those lucky one who ordered this china, the package arrived and there was absolute no negatives things to say about it. Overstock staff did a very great job on shipping and handling procedure that the china were secure and nothing was broken. I think this product is one of the great products that Overstock has, in term of qualily and price. This china set is thin, light, yet beautiful and gracefu. The size is just perfect. I think this china set is just like those which are from the famous expensive brands at *****/*****/.... It didn't cost me an arm and a leg for this china set. They are still fine after spending some time in and out the dish washer. I was very pleased to receive great comments about this set. My husband loves this china as much as I do that I start using it everyday, I don't save them for special occasions anymore.

Very beautiful and exquisite set. Golden decorations give enough of charm without being too cheesy. If you hesitate about buying fragile things online don't worry it comes very well packed. Not a single piece was damaged. Buy without hesitation, the set is wonderful.

The salt & pepper shakers are wobbly and can't be used at all, but everything else is beautiful and well worth the price. I'm buying 2nd set as a backup/extras.

It looks elegant, but has a sturdy feel like it's not going to break if you look at it. The extras such as the salt and pepper shakers and coffee pot make it a must have.
