This sheepskin rug is beautiful on the floor in my sitting area in the master suite. I have hardwood floors and the rug really made the room look rich. I did some research before I purchased.The rug is very well made. Was a little skeptical at first because it was white and I have two bischons that love to chew their rawhide bones on it. No problem, all I do is shake it out and brush it with a hair brush every now and then. It fluffs up nicely. I have a front loading washing machine so I will probably put it on hand wash and hang to dry when needed. But I think brushing and shaking is the key to keeping it clean. My husband loves it. It makes my room feel romantic.

The rug is very soft and very beautiful. The picture online is however taken at a very clever angle to make the rug appear much larger than it is. Yes, there are dimensions given, but beware, that is from the very tip to tip of this misshapen rug. In reality it would look good in an area that needs say 3¿ to 5¿ covering. Overall though, I like it and it adds a bit of whimsy to my bedroom fireplace area.

This sheepskin rug is simply put superb. The wool is so soft and rich in texture. Very plush underfoot, almost like silk!!! . I think it makes a great gift but i used it next to my bed .
