    • A Good Purchase

      I bought this futon mattress to go in my home office so it can double as a extra guest bedroom. The mattress is shipped in a rolled up fashion. That made it easier for me to carry it upstairs. The cedar green color is a light, almost brownish color. When initially unrolled, the mattress has a mild odor but that dissipated within 2 days. The mattress is soft and comfortable to sit on. It may be an issue for sleeping if a guest is used to stiffer support. Overall I am happy with it and recommend it.

    • Hole in my mattress

      My futon mattress arived with a hole in it. there is know way I can hide or fix it without being able to see it. Not happy.

      After a year of sleeping on a deformed foam mattress -- I finally enjoy coming home to my bed. I believe this mattress has cured my insomnia, has provided restful sleep, and has enabled me to feel rejuvenated immediately upon waking.

    • Awesome Futon, Online Shopping Experience!!!!

      Awesome experience. It was our first Overstock.com purchase and I was initially concerned about: - purchasing sight-unseen (the futon came flawlessly vacuum packed so it fit into our basement no problem, and is very, very comfortable! we didn't want it to be a 'college dorm' style futon that feels like a board, and this one is great) - whether the products were legit (they were, it was brand new, and great quality) - whether it would arrive on time (we had visitors coming in 7 days, and my concern around the standard shipping option was whether they would arrive on time, which they did -- our futon arrived in exactly 2.5 days after I clicked purchase!!) $2.95 shipping, a price we couldn't beat at any nearby retail shops (this includes the futon cover!!), and it arrived in 2.5 days! In addition, when I wrote to the online/live customer service center, Adam was so helpful and responsive. I give this place top marks, and we do a lot of online (and retail) shopping.

      Sorry it took so long to write this review because I purchased this futon mattress a couple of months ago. it shipped quickly and I put it in my garage for a while. My husband and I took it out and bought it to our finished basement and we were amazed at the quality and for the price of this futon. I also purchased the cover set that I did not need because the way the futon was shipped the cover was great. I love it and it is so comfortable. I will be back later to let you know how long it will last.:))

    • Great Product

      I've had this mattress for a year now and still love it! Works great as a couch and bed. Can't feel springs and still feels as full as the day I got it. I have it covered with a fitted sheet to match my decor and keep it protected. I did a lot of research before buying and am very pleased. Excellent price. Love this mattress!

    • Not Durable

      Upon first opening up our futon mattress, I was pleased--looked nice and seemed comfortable. However, after only a month of using it as our couch, it became extremely lumpy and you can feel the springs! Turning often helps slightly but lumps develop within 1 week. When we put the futon flat for guests, a huge hump stays in the middle and is impossible to get to settle down. Additionally, the stitching on the "pockets" came out within the 1st month. Now 1/2 of them are missing. This was no "deal" since I am going to have to replace this piece of garbage and we have only had it for 3 months.

    • amazingly comfortable

      we love this futon mattress: my parents slept on it for two months when they came to visit and they could not believe it was a futon not a proper bed! my only concern was the colour: we thought it would be more brownish instead it looks very grey!

    • Very comfy

      This is a very comfortable mattress (of course I am comparing it to a very old uncomfortable one!). It has a nice loft and is very comfortable to sit on. I do not use the futon as a bed so cannot comment on what it would be like to sleep on. The color is a gray sage, not very green. It is a bit short in the width but my bolster pillows cover the gap nicely so it looks fine on the frame. This was a good price for the mattress and I am very happy with it and would recommend it highly. Shipping took quite a bit longer than the usual for Overstock so don't be in a hurry for it!
