Upon first opening up our futon mattress, I was pleased--looked nice and seemed comfortable. However, after only a month of using it as our couch, it became extremely lumpy and you can feel the springs! Turning often helps slightly but lumps develop within 1 week. When we put the futon flat for guests, a huge hump stays in the middle and is impossible to get to settle down. Additionally, the stitching on the "pockets" came out within the 1st month. Now 1/2 of them are missing. This was no "deal" since I am going to have to replace this piece of garbage and we have only had it for 3 months.

we love this futon mattress: my parents slept on it for two months when they came to visit and they could not believe it was a futon not a proper bed! my only concern was the colour: we thought it would be more brownish instead it looks very grey!

This is a very comfortable mattress (of course I am comparing it to a very old uncomfortable one!). It has a nice loft and is very comfortable to sit on. I do not use the futon as a bed so cannot comment on what it would be like to sleep on. The color is a gray sage, not very green. It is a bit short in the width but my bolster pillows cover the gap nicely so it looks fine on the frame. This was a good price for the mattress and I am very happy with it and would recommend it highly. Shipping took quite a bit longer than the usual for Overstock so don't be in a hurry for it!

I was very excited to get this-- as futon it seems okay. But within a few days the stitching detail on the surface came out in two places. Though the futon itself seems to be okay, I'm not impresssed with thet workmanship detail. I'm keeping it because it isn't a bad price for a futon and I don't have the energy to bother sending it back. I probably wouldn't buy more expensive piece of furniture from Overstock. Smaller items such as books -- sure but not the larger hard to return stuff.

This futon looks great and is very comfortable. I have had a bad back for years, and recently was waking up sore from my sagging mattress- this is a very firm futon, and so may not be for everyone, but if you like/need a firm mattress, this is great. My only gripe is the weight of it, because the frame I bought doesn't convert easily with it being so heavy, and I use it as my main bed. As a guest futon, it looks fantastic as a couch and is very comfortable, and you could always get a foam mattress pad if you think it's too firm.

This is a WOLFE Futon and it has an 11 YEAR warranty!!!! NO need to extend it folks, and the workmanship is wonderful. Thick, plush and a beautiful! I read a comment about white threading? You can't notice it. The stitching is deep (aka WELL-MADE), and you're going to want to cover and protect it, anyway - esp if you want to keep your Warranty valid. It's treated JUST like a mattress, so if you soil or abuse it, the warranty is voided. Be smart - protect your investment and get a good cover. You'll have this baby for YEARS! As always, FAST ship w/no hassles! Gotta LOVE it! *The only reason I gave the Value a 4 was because I found this online elsewhere for maybe $15 more (plus a pricey ship.) Overall, still a terrific buy!

We needed our futon to be functional as a guest bed and the old mattress was poor. This one is very comfortable and very attractive. I am glad that it is microfiber covered as we have had good luck with wash ability on other pieces of furniture. It is also very comfy as a couch.

I bought this for my son and when it arrived by UPS I was slightly taken back by it's compact appearance, but when I went to pick it up to carry it in.. WHOA!! It's very solid when it's packed for shipping and I was extremely careful when opening it up using a special package opening tool that I have, you have to be very careful when opening it because it is vacuum packed and once you pop the packaging open it starts to swell up.Well.. once it was open and my son and I rolled it out onto the bed it automatically started to fluff up into this great mattress!It is very comfortable and has support that you wouldn't expect of a futon mattress.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is searching for a comfortable, supportive futon mattress, the cover is very nice and it is made very well.

I read other reviews concerning the color being off, so I ordered the darkest brown they offered to make sure I would get at least brown. Oh my gosh!!!! The color I got is some color grey or green, were still debating, but if you sit on it wearing a brown shirt and stare at it for a while you start to imagine it could be some color brown. Then you realize no way. I have already unrolled and unpackaged it so sending it back isn't an option so now I will try to find a BROWN cover for it. Also, in the picture it looks like it has buttons to give it a taylored look but don't be fooled, its only white stitching and yes I said WHITE.

I bought this frame in June 08 and I have been very pleased with the quality of this purchase. I read the other reviews before buying and it was even better than I expected. It felt so good to purchase a mattress online with delivery to my apartment (no car or truck needed) that I knew would be great quality for a fair price. If there was a 1/2 off sale on this one in the future, I would definitely send this one to my no car having brother because the delivery was great. It came in a tightly rolled little log that ressembled a small 5x7 carpet roll. This made it so portable and easy for the UPS guy to carry it to my door on his shoulder. Once delivered, I dragged the log to the bedroom and laid it onto my metal futon frame and cut it open. I unrolled the mattress right onto the futon frame and then it expanded to its full size and thickness. I was really relieved that everything I read was true and surprised how comfortable it was. I got the Cedar and the color is more of a moss but it looks fine. (I can always throw a cover on it to match my future color preferences).

This is a very comfortable futon mattress. We purchased this mattress in preparation for an extended house full of family for our Thanksgiving weekend. We are happy to report that the mattress was so much more comfortable than our old one. It was equal in comfort to a bed. Folded up, it holds its shape and is very functional for seating. As for color, we took a chance and ordered cedar. It would be helpful if Overstock.com showed the real color. In the ad, the color appears brown, which is not true. Thanks to another reviewer, we understood that the color was not accurate in the ad. We chose cedar and it worked perfectly. The cedar fabric color is actually a color that is between celery and moss. One complaint...the "do not remove" tag is in a place where you must remove it, and when you do, it is difficult to remove without tearing the mattress seam. All in all, we are happy with the purchase and the price was very competitive. As so many others have reported, the delivery was quick and the packaging was a technical wonder. The UPS deliverer probably wondered what he was actually delivering, since it does not look like a mattress! Again, I would recommend this purchase to a friend without hesitation.

This was my first time using Overstock. The Mattress came as promised within a week. I ordered it Tues it was their by Friday. The mattress is very comfortable and thick. It was packaged very nice. The only pblm is that the mattress width is shorter than the futon. Also, by the mattress being so thick it is very hard to convert to a sofa from the bed position. Outside of that I was able to use it as a bed for my guest coming in for the holidays.

I bought this mattress for my teenage son to replace his old futon mattress. He and his friends love it. It was easy to unpack and I bought a cover for it on Overstock. It looks great in his room and is very comfortable.

Overall excellent product, very good price for the product. Very comfortable to sit on, color very good, fabric excellent. My husband unpacked the mattress but I had warned him it came in a "food saver" package and to let it expand for a few days, no problems. I highly recommend this product.

My futon mattress arived with a hole in it. there is know way I can hide or fix it without being able to see it. Not happy.

After a year of sleeping on a deformed foam mattress -- I finally enjoy coming home to my bed. I believe this mattress has cured my insomnia, has provided restful sleep, and has enabled me to feel rejuvenated immediately upon waking.

Awesome experience. It was our first Overstock.com purchase and I was initially concerned about: - purchasing sight-unseen (the futon came flawlessly vacuum packed so it fit into our basement no problem, and is very, very comfortable! we didn't want it to be a 'college dorm' style futon that feels like a board, and this one is great) - whether the products were legit (they were, it was brand new, and great quality) - whether it would arrive on time (we had visitors coming in 7 days, and my concern around the standard shipping option was whether they would arrive on time, which they did -- our futon arrived in exactly 2.5 days after I clicked purchase!!) $2.95 shipping, a price we couldn't beat at any nearby retail shops (this includes the futon cover!!), and it arrived in 2.5 days! In addition, when I wrote to the online/live customer service center, Adam was so helpful and responsive. I give this place top marks, and we do a lot of online (and retail) shopping.

Sorry it took so long to write this review because I purchased this futon mattress a couple of months ago. it shipped quickly and I put it in my garage for a while. My husband and I took it out and bought it to our finished basement and we were amazed at the quality and for the price of this futon. I also purchased the cover set that I did not need because the way the futon was shipped the cover was great. I love it and it is so comfortable. I will be back later to let you know how long it will last.:))

When we unfolded the mattress, we noticed there were a few small holes in the outer fabric. Upon closer inspection, almost every one of the 18 corded tufts had a small tear in the micro fabric where the tuft had been placed. We decided this would not cause a serious problem. We chose to buy a Futon cover for added protection of the mattress. Otherwise the mattress ( memory foam and coils) is acceptable and comfortable.

I bought this for my granddaughter as hers went flat within a year. She loves it. It looks very nice folded as a sofa and is comfortable to sit on. Has a lot of support. MY granddaughter thinks it is the most comfortable mattress she has ever owned... granted that is only 15 years of experience but she loves it.
