I would recommend this mattress - we bought it because the old one was worn out - my brother-in-law slept on it the first night we had it and said that it was very comfortable. The color was fine and the price was reasonable. It also came very quickly. I would buy it again.

Wasn't as thick as we expected. Way thinner than the one it replaced (dog peed on the old one). But, it is a good value for the money, and is okay for now. We are planning to get a better one later; maybe our ancient dog will make the need sooner than later.

We could feel the wooden slats of our futon frame through our lumpy, old futon mattress. I'd been shopping around online when I finally decided on this one. It's true about it's tight packaging! I was nervous I was going to cut through the material! (It's shrinkwrapped for easy shipping, but you can BARELY get a pair of scissors under the plastic to cut it off.) Anyway, once I got the plastic off, I aired out the futon on our back porch for almost a week. I've heard that the 'new car' smell is actually new materials off-gassing, and it's toxic... I figured that the new futon smell was probably similar. After about a week the futon didn't stink like new materials, so we brought it in. We keep our futon in the living area, so it really does need to double as a couch and mattress for guests (i.e. it's not flat all the time). It's held its shape really nicely (it doesn't slide off the frame), and our guests have been happy with it. All in all, I'd recommend it.

This product arrived about 3 days after I ordered it...a lot sooner than i expected. It came conveniently vacuum packed and fluffed to full thickness after 2-3 days of lying out. There are small gaps in the fabric where the stitches are. Fabric is nice and soft.

I bought this mattress to replace the one (if you want to call it a "mattress") that came with my futon. Admittedly, the futon was purchased at a discount store but I expected more than fluff for a mattress.The mattress I purchased from Overstock.com is incredible; nice and firm but really comfortable. It looks great, too. I didn't even need to put a cover on it.Delivery was fast and hassle-free.When I sit on this mattress, it's hard to believe it's a futon. It feels more like an actual sofa. I'm actually considering upgrading the futon frame to match the quality of this mattress.

The mattress was delivered on time. So far it seems fine. My only two comments would be that it has chemical odor to it that hasn't seem to diminished at all and the packaging was hard to get off. I understand that it has to be packed that way but it was extremely tight in the middle of the mattress and I did put a tiny tear in the fabric trying to get the packaging off of the mattress. The mattress seems to be really sturdy and solid.

Great mattress. We shopped around and almost went for the 6" but ended up going for this 8" one and it was a great choice. Had our first house guests sleep on it last night and said they slept perfectly. Definitely recommend. Great mattress and a great price.

Very comfy, took a few days to puff up, but well worth the money...I thought the brown color would be darker than we got, I thought it would be chocolate, not more beige. However, it matches fine, luckily...Overall, satisfied with purchase!

I ordered buff one, and the quality is good. You do not even need a cover.But it cannot sit in the position, I have to move it upward from time to time.

I had found other futon mattresses on-line but they were much more expensive.This mattress has a great price and I don't think I'd find better quality somewhere else.The odor I read about kind of smelled like silk, to me. I think it is comfortable. Now I will wait to see how well it wears.

We purchased this mattress to use on a used craftmatic bed frame instead of purchasing the more expensive mattress that is made for the bed. It is adequate for the purpose and a whole lot less expensive.

Very comfortable and affordable. Although we were shipped the wrong color mattress and it was too inconvenient to ship back for the correct color. Overall, we're very happy with it.

Purchased this item for my daughter's futon. I slept on it for three nights and although it seems to be very substantial . .it is a very "Hard" surface to sleep on. It definitely isn't a soft mattress. We'll see how well it holds its shape and loftness.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a futon mattress for a den. This was inexpensive and it is very comfortable. I was able to handle by myself although it wasn't quick or graceful. It has a microfiber cover, but it is tufted with white thread which doesn't look great. I planned on covering it anyway. I think you can find this mattress for a similar price elsewhere online, but shipping makes it a deal.
