Big and Beautiful!
I bought a red and a green apple for my 2 married daughters. They loved them! They are very heavy duty and beautiful. Being able to use them in oven and on stove top is great. So far, after a few uses, there is no discoloration. The shape is obviously a little different from a normal pot, smaller at the bottom, so you can't brown a big roast or anything like that, but it's great for smaller pieces and casseroles. Because its tall, you have to put it on a lower oven shelf. They look so cute in the kitchen! Definitely recommend.

I bought both
I have been obsessed with these apple pots, and recently bought the green one. Since I wanted both, I ordered the red one as well. The quality is the same and this one is also very heavy but the one thing I noticed was that the apple wasn't as dark as the apple picture online. I was expecting a rich red color, but it looked more like a hot sauce color when I pulled it out of the box, but still, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Awesome Cast Iron Pot
This is a very nice looking pot and adds a bit of whimsy to your kitchen. I purchased mine and used it for the first time yesterday. It heated evenly, nothing stuck to it and it cleaned very easily. I would recommend.

Apple love
I was very excited when my parcel arrived, and upon unwrapping it I was far from disappointed. It was exactly as advertised, maybe a little smaller than I had imagined not being used to using quart measurements, but in perfect condition!! The very first time I used it was for an Irish Stew, which turned out perfectly. I'm now in love with using Cast Iron and am on the lookout for more Lodge products. The price was a little more than I'd been hoping to pay, but as with most good things... if you want quality then you need to pay for it. Don't skimp when it comes to your Cast Iron Cookware, go for Lodge instead of one of the cheap brands!

Apple Red Pot
I purchased the pot as a decorative item. I thought it was beautiful and unique. The pot is cast iron. Well made. Probably the heaviest pot i own. I haven't cooked it in - but from the quality of the pot I could roast a piece of meat with absolutely no problem. The color is a deep rich red. Very close to the picture. There was a blemish on the leaf handle. Overstock immediately had a new one sent to my home. I love their customer service. They rate number one in my book. If you love the pot - buy the pot. You will be very happy. It's a show piece.

The Apple of My Eye :-)
I love this pot! The lid fits very well, there are no marks or blemishes in the enamel and the stainless steel leaf handle is sturdy and adds just the right touch to the overall look. Many of my friends have seen it and just fell in love with it. They need to make a whole line of 'veggie-fruit' cookware. Maybe a frying pan that looks like a pie with the lid on.LOL

Apple cast iron casserole
This is a beautiful enameled cast-iron dish. The workmanship is excellent. There were no chips or bubbles in the enameling. It can be used on the stove or in the oven, and is a beautiful serving dish. My mom asked for this as a Christmas gift. I got it for her and now I want one too!
