For the price, I think this trunk is very nice. It has that "old world charm" I like, but isn't a pricey, fragile antique. I would recommend it, it looks just like the picture. We use it as a toy chest in the study, and it will transition to other uses as the toys are outgrown.

I love the storage trunk, its big, deep and looks great in my family room. i bought it to have a nice "toy" chest in my family room, that didn't really look like a toy chest. It fits almost all my sons toys and makes it easy to take back my family room from looking like a play room.

The leather trunk/coffee table is gorgeous! It's a bit larger than I expected, however it's a nice sturdy piece of furniture. The picture does not do the item justice. My husband really likes the chest because it's unique and presents a lot of character. I like it for the extra large storage capacity.

I'm glad I got this chest. Looks and works great. Don't be fooled by the color in the picture, though, because it's not representative of what you'll get. The trunk has a really dark ESPRESSO finish, as the title states. There's a similar endpiece that looks more like what you'll get. It was pretty easy to assemble and it seems sturdy, but the lid needed two people to put on.

We owned this trunk for little over 6 weeks before one of the legs broke off, taking a chunk of the upper body with it. All I did was slide it over a few inches with my knee, and it hit a tiny ridge on the floor between floorboards and that was all it took to break the chest. Upon breaking, we noticed this trunk is made of cheap, weak particle board with a veneer over it. The screw held strong, stronger than the leg and upper trunk apparently. On the positive side, this is (was) a very pretty chest once I put it together, which incidentally was not easy due to poor alignment/angles of the pre-drilled holes. But whatever. After a couple of hours, it was together, and it looked really nice. But after a couple of weeks, we noticed it was wearing quickly - the finish on the veneer is easily chipped and nicked, showing white wood underneath. We have lots of wood furniture, and this piece in particular does not wear well. However, we have twin toddlers that gave it a workout. Also, one of the hinges broke after a couple of months, which made the lid bang down & could easily take off fingers. So the hardware also is cheap. My husband noted that no one should try to pick up the chest by the handles on the outside, either. We still have the chest, minus the legs (since one cannot be repaired due to the big chunk missing from the trunk above it) but it's used only for storage in the garage where no one can see the big chunk missing from the bottom corner, and where the kids won't get to it. We wouldn't want one of them to lose a finger from the lid slamming down, thanks to the broken hinge. So I would recommend this chest only to someone who will not use it often, will move it by lifting from underneath (not by the handles and not by sliding across the floor), and who doesn't have kids. If you fit this criteria, by all means, it's not a bad looking chest or coffee table.

We were looking for a blanket chest or trunk to store some clothes in, but settled on this because we wanted something other than wood. It's absolutely beautiful - in the picture it looks kind of shiny but the actual "leather" has a nice matte finish and soft hand feel, it could almost pass for the real thing. The top stays open on its own, which is wonderful, and it's got a LOT of space inside - more than enough for a dozen sweaters and about 8 pairs of jeans.

I would give this trunk a higher rating if the price was still what I paid for it - xxxx bucks. However, it's really shot up I see! Definitely not worth it. This looks beautiful - once you put it together, which takes awhile - but it's very cheap. It's made from particle board, and one day while sliding it only a few inches to one side, one of the legs snapped off. It is unfixable because the screw holding it into the trunk snapped off a chunk of particle board - off the body where the leg attaches, as well as the leg. The screw held strong though. We had to take all the legs off after the chunk fell off the body, and you can see the chunk missing from one side. Prior to that, one hinge broke (which held the top open without slamming down on one's fingers). We used this as a toy chest, so we did open it fairly often. I definitely would NOT recommend using this as a toy chest - or if you plan on opening it often - and if you do buy it, I would definitely lift to move so you don't stress the particle board. The finish is not very durable. While it looks beautiful new, it scratches if you breathe on it wrong. It's not a nice weather beaten look either, but maybe it would look nicer if we ran some stain over the dings. However, we did give this chest a workout with twin toddlers! But compared to some of our other wood furniture that gets just as much if not more of a beating, this did not wear well and looked awful within days. Maybe because the finish is almost mirror-smooth, it shows wear well. Maybe if you don't have kids, use this very carefully and not very often, move with caution, and don't mind taking a couple of hours to put it together, then I would recommend this trunk for you. If you can find a screaming good deal like I did.

I really like this chest. It looks just like the picture and is pretty large. It is in my master closet for storage and seating. It's pretty strong and comfy.

The table is stylish and has plenty of storage to store some of the kids toys while looking. The trunk is sturdy and the side brackets prevent the lid from coming down on your head. The parts were well labeled which made the table easy to put together.

I bought this chest to put in our entry as a place to sit and put your shoes on and a place to stash umbrellas, mittens, hats etc. It was very easy to put together: you just have to put the feet on it and you can do it without tools. I ordered the patchwork one and the pattern on the textured squares is flowers. The hardware looks substantial, not cheap. My kids thought it is a treasure chest. The youngest put the umbrellas back in the closet and loaded it with sleeping bags, a comforter and pillows. She said she was going camping.

I was a little skeptical when the table came in a large flat biox, but my 13 year old and I (the Mom) put the whole table together in a couple hours. It tooks some figuring out, but we managed. I mean you have to put on everything from the hardware handles to the hinges, but it all worked out. The hinges are of the highest qualty and the chest itself seems to be a nice solid well made unit. The finished product is really quite nice and looks far more expensive than its modest cost. I store my blankets in it and am already wondering how I got along without it. I love the way it loooks in front of my sofa and would definitely recommend it . The quality for the price is pretty amazing. Love it.
If you've filled your closet with dresses and coats, a bedroom chest might be what you need to house your additional clothing. A bedroom chest is an efficient and stylish way to fold clothes or other items and keep them close at hand. A chest of drawers adds storage space wherever you need it, and it gets the job done in style.
Many homes lack adequate storage space. And without places to put everything you own, many items either get left out in the open or buried deep within a closet where you can't find them when you need them. Fortunately, there are many pieces of furniture that provide you with storage solutions without compromising style.
Bedding can be bulky and inconvenient to store, especially if you have several sheet sets and blankets for multiple beds in the house. If you have a linen closet, it can be difficult to keep organized. If you don't have a linen closet, storing bedding can be even more of a headache. Keep your sheets and comforters organized and out of the way by storing bedding correctly and efficiently. Look below to learn the best ways to store bedding.
