  • Was easier way then expected

Based on the reviews I expected that it'll take me a few hours to build. In reality it took me less then half an hour. When complete, it's elegant and sturdy. My son is very happy with this bookcase (maybe because he thinks it's way more expensive then it really was)

I had a "bare space" in my front hallway under a big mirror. I put it there first, but it was just a bit small. I looked around and put it in a bare space in my living room and it totally "made" the room. It's perfect.

  • Nice industrial style

I ignored the instructions finally and figured it out on my own as to how the legs should be installed. It was basic bottom shelf bracket first then the top. Nice piece, glass panels fit well and they give you the scuff pads and glass pads but the particular screws they used made it slightly wobbly so I tightened them within an inch of it's life. I use it behind a sofa for display pieces so it fits nicely and doesn't wobble.

  • Frustrating but worth it.

The assembly instructions came with a warning that putting this together will be a frustrating experience but that they would try to keep it simple. Cute. The instructions weren't as clear as they could be and some parts weren't labeled properly making for a pretty confusing first half hour. After using the instructions as more of a guideline and trying to use our wits, we were able to put the table together in two and a half hours. It wasn't a terrible experience, and I would still recommend it to a friend because the end result is worth the frustration. Some of the finish on part of the wood was chipped, luckily it was under the table so it won't be visible. There are also two holes on each side of the table (above the pull out drawer) that don't have finish inside of them so they stick out like a sore thumb when you're walking by. Nothing a little polish can't fix I bet. It's not a HUGE deal but it was something I noticed.
