The company we bought a daybed from did not have link springs in stock. I bought from Overstock because of the price. I was concerned that they may not be universal for installation. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install. I read reviews about other springs being squeeky, but this one is not.

Hello kdgemelli, This link spring is so handy! This will support twin mattresses for daybeds, but works best with -sided daybeds. Item 14132104 might be a better fit for your needs. I hope this information helps. Thanks for shopping with us.overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 9, 2014

I have a daybed with metal slats holding the mattress in place. Can I place this on top of the slats or do I need to remove the slats. Also does it come with the hardware to install?cmkeenan on Apr 11, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Hello, cmkeenan. Hope your day is going well. It appears that you already have a mattress support in place. The link spring offered is universal, but the hardware to connect is not included with the link spring. Normally, the mounting hardware is included in the daybed hardware bag. Thank you for shopping with us and please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.

each of the four corners attach to the daybed frame. How far apart are the holes that the screws/bolts go into. This is extremely important to know before ordering.

At each corner of the link spring, how far apart are the holes that will attach the link spring to the corner of the daybed, e.g. 4"?mdshopper1 on Apr 24, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
If it does not attach to the frame how does it work?kbgp on Apr 3, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
The daybed link spring attaches to the two side panels of the daybed frame to create a strong, stable daybed. The link spring is a metal grid-like structure with springs that substitutes for a box spring. This is what the twin mattress rests on allowing room below for the optional trundle bed.overstockcustomercare1 on Apr 4, 2012
Can I screw this into the existing frame? on Mar 27, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
