I searched for this type of fabric in all the high end fabric shops - to no avail. I wanted a tropical look in a natural fabric - and this it. The color is cream and the look is very close to gauze - or mosquito netting. Gorgeous! Not sure how these will hold up - they're delicate - but the look is fabulous.

I bought these sheers to provide a little privacy for our large living room window. I first bought the natural shade for the sliding glass door to our deck - like them so much, I bought the cream for the living room. These sheers have great texture (not fine linen, but not burlap, either), so they provide a nice look to the window. Popped them into the dryer with a damp dryer sheet to straighen and freshen, and they were ready to hang. Contemporary choice for sheers, not doily or formal.
